“Perfect getaway from everything....”

It's the most wonderful and beautiful place to stay in my life till now. All the ducks as part of the theme made my experience joyous. Everything was immaculate and the hosts were really friendly and great to talk to. I have never seen a better maintained property ever.

The hosts are wonderful, friendly but unobtrusive and the room was spotlessly clean, comfy bed. Extra bonus is the washing machine and full cooker. We would definitely stay again if we were passing through.

Rural but close to town

Lovely homely, slightly quirky unit. Impeccably clean, lovely choice of beverages and a plate of biscuits on arrival. Owner had popped the heat pump and lamps on for us as we were arriving late, which was really welcoming.

Loved our stay here , both the property and the location was perfect . Ricky ( the host ) is lovely and couldn't be more helpful.

Booking.com double booked us in Rivendell, and the owners phoned us immediately about the problem. They emailed also, to make sure we were aware. Excellent, and caring service, and though we didn't stay there, would certainly look them up when down that way in the future.

Ricky was a lovely host and we enjoyed patting Brambles the horse and the nearby orchard. The apartment is well stocked with everything you need including cosy bathrobes. It was also one of the rare places in Geraldine where you can bring a pet.

Location good. This cute place is older but very cosy and clean and everything you need. We felt it should be called duck heaven (ha ha ) This is not a complaint but maybe something to take in, I felt the bed was a bit hard and maybe the pillows. After that we would definitely go back to Duck Heaven if coming back this way. Thankyou

Erica was a lovely host, so easy to talk to. Three words spring to mind when describing the property… birds, berries and love. We had everything we needed and enjoyed the experience of picking berries from the orchard. The birdsong was divine!

The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The unit is super comfortable, and has everything you need. And there were some nice extra touches, like plunger coffees and home-baked cookies :) The accommodation is in an excellent location...quiet and rural, yet right on the outskirts of Geraldine.

Beautifully prepared and decorated spacious room in a quiet garden location only a short drive from town. Very welcoming, helpful and considerate host. The room had a comfortable bed and a sofa. The kitchen was well equipped, with a washing machine as well. A very comfortable and relaxing place for an enjoyable stay. Highly recommended.
