The Palladion hotel is a wonderful place in Crete, where you can completely wind down and relax in the caring environment of Samouil and Rena. The location is perfect, the pool with the views on the mountains was beautiful every day and night, we loved the Greek salad at lunch and no question was too much for the staff.

Spectacular views from our room and breathtaking views from our balcony, lovely swimming pool for our 7 year old, lovely local taverns with delicious authentic Greek food. The owners are very friendly, accommodating, and helpful.

The couple running the hotel are more than great hosts, they are very friendly and accommodating. Always with a smile 😊 . The hotel is nice, clean with a nice pool area to relax. Would definitely recommend.

My mom and I stayed here for almost two weeks and we really enjoyed our time. The location is perfect for anyone who appreciates peace and quiet. It’s just a 7-minute walk from the main street with all the shops and all-inclusive hotels, but far enough away that you don’t get caught up in the hustle. The staff were attentive but gave us space when they sensed that’s what we preferred, which was perfect! We loved waking up to such a beautiful view — fields, mountains, and the sea. From our room, we could see both the sunrise and the sunset, which was absolutely divine.

We didn't land until late, as a result we didn't make it to the hotel until past 2am. The proprietor waited in reception until we arrived and even helped us up to the room with our bags. The room was excellent, very comfy, well appointed and we wanted for nothing. There was even a complimentary bottle of wine in our room on arrival - Nice touch. There was plenty of interaction between hosts and guests and plenty of sweet gifts for the children, the staff were attentive without being intrusive nor unavailable and the service was excellent all round. The pool area was excellent with plenty of loungers and loads of toys for the kids to play with. With it being a smaller hotel, it had a lovely intimate feel to it. Would I go again? Absolutely!

Samuel and the staff were extremely friendly and responsive to our every need and communication was very good before our stay ensuring I was allocated a room that was suitable for my disability. Our apartment had a fabulous terrace with stunning views of the mountains. It was right next to the pool with distant views of the sea, which we could also see from the 3 windows in the lounge. The cleaning was of impeccable standard by a very friendly and polite girl called Dimitra, she was superb! We were surprised to find that cleaning was offered every day with sheets changed when necessary and fresh towels on our third day. The hotel was very quiet with respectful guests, you could hear road noise from the outside terraces but not from inside the room but even outside it was not intrusive.

The host Ssnuel and his lovely wife Rena were amazing They made us feel so welcome. The room we had (33) had a terrace overlooking fields and the sea. We loved the rurL aspect. The goats in the next field with their bells were great to have nearby. It is a ten minute walk to the nearest shops, restaurants and beach. Ryhthymno is the most beautiful old town we have ever been to. For €8 each the breakfast was very good value for money.

Everything was perfect. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. The hotel is really clean.

Brilliant family run hotel, Samuel and Renee are the perfect hosts and are very friendly and accommodating. Great Frappes! The pool is lovely and had it all to myself sometimes as although the hotel was full, most people are out for the day. Great for me! I will be back 😀😀

Beautiful, excessively clean place, run by young, loving, beautiful, helpful family. Wide view from the huge balcony on the mountains, sea, pool. Peace&quiet. Nearby you can find unusual place -Kournas Lake - with cristallic, warm water, and slopes deriving from it. No crowds. Also nearby you can choose among pool parties, karaoke parties, promenade with homemade traditional cuisine. We also encountered flock of sheeps returning home in the evening:-)) Very safe, romantic, peaceful place. First time we regreted we couldn't have stayed longer. Never more crowded hotels. My best stay in Greece, which I have visited maaany times. I will be back in October. And next year:-))

One of the best hotels we've stayed in - the owners are very friendly and super helpful. The room was spacious and clean and had everything you need. Glasses, plates, pots, mini fridge and air-conditioning which was so useful! The pool area was the best part. It's clean and never crowded and the view was amazing. There's parking spaces as well which was very helpful as we've rented a car. Also, everything is close by such as supermarkets, petrol station and restaurants. Can't wait to go back 😁
