“Excellent property in an excellent location”

Excellent property in an excellent location. We had a wonderful week at villa polentas. The villa was clean bright nicely furnished and well equipped. The gardens outside spaces and the pool were all lovely. The location was excellent. It was very relaxing to be in the Cretan countryside. The only drawback maybe the road noise. The villa is on the road up to lake kournas and there is some traffic, having said that it didn’t bother us at all, your mileage may vary. If you have a car the beach, Georgiopolis and lake Kournas are all a 10 minute drive away. Beyond you could explore kournas and kastello villages. Rethymno is 30 minutes away. Lastly The staff were wonderful. Giannis was a super host. So friendly and always on hand if we had a question We look forward to going back.

“Clean, comfortable villa close to lake and beach!”

The house was spotless and very comfortable. There is plenty of outdoors space to hang out peacefully. The pool area is very nice with padded lounge chairs. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. It's a short drive from beautiful Kournas Lake and a short drive from the beach. Communication with the host was 10/10- everything was easy!

Fantastic location, so close to the beaches in Giorgiopolis, 5 minutes to Kournas lake, 20 minutes to Rethimno. Excellent amenities, pool, outdoor shower, charcoal bbq, large quiet grounds fantastic to unwind after long day out. Very comfortable accomodation, highly recommend.

This is a great Villa, there were 5 of us. The villa is fully equipped for a good holiday. The beach is sandy, 3 minutes by car. The lake is amazing, 2 minutes by car, the village by 3 minutes by car. Excellent restaurants, beautiful sea. Special thanks to the owner, very friendly, helped with all our requests. Do not hesitate, book, you will be very pleased!!!

A great place filled with all the necessary amenities for a family, including a lovely pool, ample parking space and great spacious rooms! At close proximity to the beach and a nearby beautiful lake. Very friendly and accommodating hosts! A great base to explore the island from!

Great host, great location, fabulous villa & pool. We had a great week here & had everything we needed at the villa. The owner was so friendly & helpful. Georgioupolis is a lovely village with plenty to do. Location of villa is perfect for exploring the island.

“The villa, pool, views and location was perfect for a total chillout experience.”

This was a self catering accommodation that exceeded our expectations. The location was beautiful and sereen just off a small road leading to the lake, surrounded by olive groves, mountain on one side and a view of the sea from one of the veranda areas, of which there are two and one large stone patio area outside of the main door which is spacious, clean and has ample room for sun loungers and a dining area. Everything you needed was available from the villa such as beach umbrellas and towels for a relaxing day at the beach or in the villas own private pool. There was fruit, water, and extra food supplies if needed which made the villa feel homely and very comfortable. The cleanliness and organisation of the villa was exceptional, making it a very comfortable stay. The location is great for exploring either the coastal areas or inland villages. We really enjoyed our stay and loved the hammock in the shade of the trees. There was a BBQ available, the private pool was not overlooked so the villa and gardens, provided privacy and a great location to completely relax in. Thank you Gianni who is such a lovely man, for a most wonderful stay, also taking the time to come and meet us and have a chat over coffee. We will definately be back soon.

“Relaxing holiday”

First of all the contact with the owner. He was very helpfull, friendly and kind. Mr Giannis made sure we had a wonderfull time. The answers to our request were always very fast. This is what really call the mediterranean way of receiving guest. Then the cleaness of the place . The house was very clean also it is well equipped with all necessary amenities. The house is located in a very quiet place and not far at all from the main town and beach. We found the place perfect and very central if you want to visit the west side of Greece. Without hesitation a place we would recommend tonamyone who wants to have peacefull and relaxing holidays without the noise of crowded hotel.

“Just amazing”

This villa is wonderful and the location is amazing in the middle of an olive groove. This is a very well kept facility with a wonderful garden and private pool. We had a great time here and the host Giannis is so kind and supportive. We will definitely come back! The fruit stand next to the house is also an experience itself. Don t miss! ☺️
