“Beautiful hotel, hollow hospitality — stunning on the outside, deeply disappointing when it mattered”

The sea view room is genuinely beautiful — spacious, well-designed, and the views are stunning. The location on Kournas beach is hard to fault, and the bartenders and reception team were warm and helpful throughout. When our room had issues on arrival, the receptionist worked quickly to resolve them, which we appreciated.

The resort itself isn’t very big, coverable from the reception to the beach in a 3-min walk, with 2 restaurants and 3 bars. It has a slight jungle-ish feeling, with plenty vegetation and a few animal sculptures, but overall a pretty cosy vibe. It was also quiet all around, even with 3 or 4 families with small children. Room (junior suite with private pool) is clean and spatious. Towels are changed 2 times per day (second time is optional). Another unusual detail is that there’s no door between the bedroom and the bathroom’s sink, however both the shower and the toilet have their own separate glass doors. The bad part is that the shower door doesn’t go all the way up to the ceiling so a hot shower instantly got the room hot and steamy. AC is efficient and quickly gets the room cold, but it instantly turns off when you open the main and the pool doors, so you can’t always keep it running. You only have a key card for the room and you tell the staff your room number, so no permanent bracelets for all-inclusive guests. The beach is private, 90% sandy and very well-maintained, with decently comfy sunbeds. The sea has a long walk-in and is also clean. Beach/pool towels can be changed 2 times per day. Food was good in both restaurants. We personally would have wished for more seafood options. The main restaurant was always in buffet-style for all 3 meals with plenty variety, but one section always had traditional greek foods - tzatziki, olives, feta, buyourdi, greek salad etc. The breakfast had both sweet and savory options and the dinner was in a different style every night - greek, american, asian, mexican etc. The beach restaurant had more or less the same types of food, but in much lower quantities, as its buffet only has one small room. The main difference for the beach restaurant is that you need reservation for dinner and you get a fixed pre-determined 5-meal course instead of the open buffet.

“Great experience and complete relaxation!”

My first all-inclusive and it had checked all the boxes, it was even better than I could’ve imagined! The hotel is great: not too big, very cozy and calm, the beach - great with beautiful sea, that had crystal clear water all day long (also very warm in the middle of September). Tasty food, cozy beds, nice pool, etc. A big thank you to all the staff - amazing people who genuinely take care of all the guests! A lot of them work there for decades and it shows - they treat the hotel as their own home. Amazing! Thank you to Olga, Maria, Katarina, Dimitri, Elli (we saw her just before departure) and other‘s whose name I, unfortunately, don’t remember. And a special thanks to Lorenzo for our very special request for a Hugo Boss cocktail!:)) All the beach bar staff - you‘re great! P.S I completely don’t understand the negative reviews, because after visiting the hotel myself they seem to be a spam.

The hotel is beautiful, the friendly and attentive staff gave us the warmest welcome and were always on hand to help us with any need. We especially loved the beach front location and how easy it was to relax.

“Perfect Family Getaway in Crete!”

We recently returned from a 10 days-long stay at this beautiful resort, and I can honestly say it was the perfect destination for a family vacation. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and completely at ease. The resort itself is stunning – clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed with families in mind. There were plenty of activities for both kids and adults, and we never found ourselves short on things to do. A special mention must go to the animation team – they were absolutely fantastic! Their energy, creativity, and genuine care for the children made every day exciting. Our kids couldn’t wait to join the daily activities and mini disco in the evenings – it was a real highlight of the trip. The restaurant staff were equally impressive. Every meal felt like a treat, not only because of the delicious variety of food, but also because of the warm and professional service. They always greeted us with a smile and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and happy. This resort truly exceeded our expectations. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to return year after year. Highly recommended for families looking for a relaxing and memorable vacation in beautiful Crete!

“Enchanting hotel on an idyllic beachfront”

The staff are all amazing. Receptionists, waitresses, Bartenders, cleaners, they all really go out of their way to make you feel like you really are on holiday. They sure are the best thing about this hotel and the place is already a gem in itself. The views are stunning. The rooms are comfortable and modern. The food is good. The beach is beautiful. The entertainment team are just the best. Always up to fun and games with a friendly smile. What a great atmosphere in general! We would definitely repeat.

“The most relaxing, stress free holiday”

This hotel exceeded our expectations! When we first arrived we felt a little out of place but we were immediately greeted with a smile and were made to feel very welcomed and at home. We couldn’t have asked for any better treatment from all of the staff whether this was from reception, waitresses/waiters to housekeeping. I would recommend this hotel for anyone thinking about it. Also as an addition, Hazel in the restaurant area was super helpful when it came to my food intolerances and I really appreciated her checking in her being available for any of my questions

“Extremely friendly staff and a very nice hotel.”

We were there with our adult daughters, their husbands and our 18 month old grandson. The hotel was ideal for us, as the main pool is superb for adults, while the kiddies club has its own pool for the little ones. There were lots of activities and my wife enjoyed the yoga, stretching and aqua gym. We were on the all inclusive package, which I would really recommend as it includes most cocktails and a wide selection of wines.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was quite diverse and always delicious. The beach was really clean and a pleasure to relax on. The bar staff (hotel and beach) was very friendly and the cocktails were top notch.

Everything was perfect, hotel facilities, staff, beach and food. And many thanks to the animation team for great activities like yoga, pilates and beach soccer.

From check in to check out everything was outstanding. The reception, animation team, the taverna and beach bar staff made our stay the best. It is very clean. Will definitely visit again.

cozy hotel and nice staff the beach is great: mostly sandy, the sea is calm and good for those who are bad at swimming and there are enough sunbeds excellent cleaning quality welcome gift we arrived very late, after dinner time, but they provided us with a cold plate which was much appreciated! evening shows every day
