Lovely family run hotel. Staff wonderful. Everything very clean.

The location was excellent for going to the square and also the beach. The owners were very helpful when one of our party became very unwell.

Lovely apartment, bright and spacious with free air conditioning. Exceptionally clean, fresh towels mid week and complimentary soap, tea towels and washing up liquid. Everything you need for a self catering holiday. Pool area was lovely, quiet and spotlessly clean. Plenty of loungers, in fact most days we were the only ones at the pool. The owners are amazing, friendly and helpful with nothing too much trouble. We were greeted by name on arrival late at night and shown to our apartment.the location is ideal, just out of the main resort but only a 4 min walk to the centre and all relatively flat. I will definitely return with my family.

The accommodation was spacious and the property, grounds and swimming pool were all well kept and exceptionally clean. The large swimming pool was very well kept and the gardens were lovely. We enjoyed our stay.

Nice spacious and comfortable studio. Great quiet location but only a 5 minute walk to the centre. Very clean and clean bedding and towels provided every couple of days. Very friendly owners. Nice pool area with Mountain View’s.

“Disappointing…”

We stayed only for 1 night, but it was a disappointing experience, both the village and the hotel. The village seems very over commercialised. To room was facing a very busy road with constant noise from cars even during the night. There was an air conditioning , but it was set in a strange way that you could not set it to below 24 degrees. You can’t leave it on if you are not in the room, so difficult to cool down the room. The windows faced an abandoned building and a very busy road. Not even a bottle of table water left in the fridge (costs nothing really, but a nice touch practiced by many other owners given very hot days now)…. We booked last minute and only needed one night to stay while exploring the island, but it was the worst value for money among any apartments/hotels booked on this trip.

“Athena is a well located, peaceful hotel in lovely gardens, where I was made to feel very welcome.”

This was my second stay at this lovely, friendly, family run hotel. Situated on the edge of the village it is quiet and peaceful, but a short walk takes you easily to the beach or the village centre with it's shops and tavernas. My room was clean, cool, quiet and airy and the pool and gardens are absolutely beautiful. The owners and all of their staff are so friendly and welcoming and I would stay there again with no hesitation. Thank you all for a lovely, peaceful holiday.

Absolutely amazing. Immaculate apartment, lovely beds and pillows, kettle, toaster, cooking hob, coffee machine, patio furniture, beautiful pool, breakfast had advocado on toast, my personal fav. 3 min walk to beach or square. Staff soo friendly. Even upgraded us. Thank you.
