Alkion is a family-run business, offering a friendly and more personalised service. Each of the apartments is fully equipped with self-catering facilities to create a home from home. You can enjoy beautiful views to the sea or the mountains. Alkion’s outdoor pool and terrace is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a drink. Continental breakfast is daily served. Children have a separate area to splash around in. The terrace also offers magnificent views of the sea and Georgioupoli, which is just 2 km away. The convenient location of Alkion in Exopoli allows you to easily access Chania and Rethymno. Both are situated within a 30-minute drive from the apartments, making it an ideal base for exploring Crete.

“Beautiful family-run hotel with amazing pool”
Beautiful, family-run business with attention to detail, right above Georgioupoli in the hills but still close enough to the beach and the little town (5min drive). The view is amazing from the balcony over the mountains and a bit of the sea. The pool is the best place to relax, kept clean and tidy. The owners are really kind and humble Cretan people who give you the best tips for sightseeings around. The apartment is spacious and has all you need.I loved the frappe Dimitri was making for me every day. Everything is well taken care of. Would definitely return.

“Number one, a hidden gem”
The staff were excellent, Dnitris is a briant host and can not do enough to help you find your best holiday. With help and advice at all times, he knows the best beaches and locations. The Alkion is situated at the side of a hill that looks over the white mountains. Waking every day to the stunning view was 2nd to none. The rooms were really big and kept clean by the friendly staff. Great breakfast for 7 euro, you get spoiled and full to the brim. We had the pool to our selves for the 1st full day we spent at Alkion.

“Fabulous hillside location”
Dimitri and family were great hosts. Alkion is situated in a wonderful hillside location. I really can't recommend Alkion highly enough, it is simply fabulous. You can find a choice of traditional eateries in nearby villages, a short 10 minute drive from the hotel. The swimming pool is child friendly

“Fantastic place”
Alkion family run apartments was a true find. Fantastic place, very clean & tidy, great facilities incl. a swimming pool, amazing view over the mountains and the sea. Dimitris is a fantastic host. Could not fault it. We stayed in room no.13. If I ever come to Crete again I will definitely stay here.
