Overview
Situated on the Garden Route, Burrough Place is on the main road through George city, with large garden and view of mountains. Golf Course, Redberry Farm, CBD and multiple beaches are in the vicinity. Burrough Place offers en-suite rooms leading onto a verandah, satellite channel TV, and one self-catering unit with its own balcony. Guests can rest in a lounge with fireplace or outside under sun terrace. Traditional English or Continental food, fresh fruits, yoghurt, muffins and cereals are served in the dining room. A variety of restaurants and bars are located in the city centre of George, 3 km away. Local beaches are within a 20-minute drive away. George Airport is a 15 minutes’ drive away by car.

Just wow I had requests and I was assisted immediately by the host. Even when I checked in she came to make to check if I needed anything (because I was on my way to a wedding) and even offered something to eat... Thank you so much... was a short stay but would have loved to stay longer to indulge in the garden area but will be back.

First and foremost, Desie - she went out of her way for us. I had an early appointment on Friday morning, so she organized breakfast earlier for me. My elderly mom stayed at Burrough Place and Desie served breakfast to her in our room while I was out. The location is good - between the hospital, with a lovely shopping centre close by (within walking distance). The breakfast (also prepared and served by Desie), was certainly great value for money - and enough food to tide us over until dinner (which we purchased from the shopping centre) and heated in the microwave in the main dining room. The rooms are stylishly furnished and the beds are comfortable. Coffee in the garden with peacocks for company was a highlight!

Elegant facility, easy parking, safe area, you can go for a jog or walk in the neighbourhood, met some locals doing sports as well. Desie is very friendly as well. Rooms were tidy, comfortable and worth the money.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely fantastic stay at Burrough Place in George! From the moment we arrived, the hosts were incredibly warm, kind, and helpful, making us feel right at home. The room was stunning—very spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully decorated. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful and clearly prepared with care, a perfect start to the day. Everything about our stay was exceptional. I would highly recommend Burrough Place to anyone visiting George and would happily stay there again!
