Love being able to stay at a property with beautiful architecture and full of history. We love the lounge area where all the guests meet for breakfast, tea or coffee and mingle with one another. It’s cosy and comfortable. I would like to commend Albert Tan, the operations manager for his many recommendations, making our visit to Penang very fruitful.

From the front desk to the housekeeping team, every single person we encountered went out of their way to make us feel welcome and cared for. Their restaurant recommendations were outstanding, and they gave us wonderful tips for excursions that made our stay unforgettable. The Edison isn’t just a hotel – it’s an experience. Friendly helpful staff who were generous with time in offering advice and answering questions. It was lovely to be able to sit and have a complimentary glass of wine during happy hour each afternoon. The bed was extremely comfortable and the atmosphere of the hotel was charming.

Beautiful building with spacious rooms, a lovely lounge/breakfast area and a shaded pool. Perfect for exploring GeorgeTown. The staff were great and very helpful offer plenty of recommendations. We had breakfast included, snacks and cold drinks whenever you like in the lounge area and umbrellas to protect you from the sun (use them!!). Would highly recommend.
