“Chic and a hidden gem hotel at downtown Penang”

Very centric to most of the tourist spots, and there are some good bars and restaurants nearby. The room is spacious, and the bed is very comfortable. Though there's a bar in front of the hotel which is very busy and loud at weekends, the hotel provides the earplugs. All the staffs are very polite and very helpful, definitely will come back next time.

This is a very nice heritage hotel in a great location in Georgetown. The room size is very good, the pool and lounge area are nice and the staff were really great - friendly and helpful.

Room is large and clean and the bed is firm and comfortable. Location is close to the Love Lane where there are numerous cafes and to also a short walk to Chulia Street food market.

The best location to see the sights of Georgetown! Lovely reception, the pool was so refreshing! Our room was beautifully decorated and so functional! Also, free water filling station by the pool and a kettle with coffee and tea in the rooms Also, the staff, especially Martin and Suffian were fantastic- professional, friendly, and full of good advice! We lived everything about the Muntri Grove!

“Wonderful stay at Heritage hotel”

Wonderful 5 night stay at the Muntri Grove with my daughter. Service was excellent and any requests were tended to immediately and with a smile. Property was comfortable, clean and well maintained. My daughter is gluten free and the receptionist ensured that she was provided sweet treats during her stay. Location wise it is walkable to the old town about 10-20 mins but when it’s hot used a grab which are very reasonably priced (less than 10 MYR).

Location was great, staff were super friendly. Anything you asked for was looked after quickly. The pool was wonderful, the bed, while firm was good after we added a mattress topper.

This hotel is part of the George Town Heritage Hotels group and is situated just off Lebuh Muntri which is a fairly quiet street parallel to the busier Lebuh Chulia. It is a very peaceful hotel but is affected at night by the noise from Lebuh Chulia. The room we had was nice and big and the staff were very attentive. It doesn’t do food but we found the Mews Café about 100m along Lebuh Muntri which does very tasty breakfasts for MYR35 and also has an a la carte menu for evening meals if you wish. We would definitely go back there should we be on Penang again.

The location is perfect, the staff are friendly and the hotel is very charming. I really appreciated that the staff accommodated our request for rooms to be together.
