Excellent location and a wonderful hotel. The building is historic, but the rooms and facilities are modern and well maintained. The hotel is quiet and comfortable. I especially enjoyed the afternoon tea, the strong shower, and the air conditioning, which was effective without being uncomfortable. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The hotel felt like a home away from home. A great place for both a short visit and a longer stay. I would happily stay here again.

Fantastic hotel that was easily walkable to everything you’d want to see in George Town. The staff were super friendly and really helpful - particularly the restaurant staff. The breakfast was fantastic with a buffet on busy days and a menu choice on less busy days. We loved our stay here and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Really beautiful restored hotel close to the old historic part of George Town. Easy walk to cafes, sights, shops. Staff were great, and rooms serviced daily.

Good location close to Kimberley Street and walkable down to see all the street art. Staff were friendly. Plenty of nice eateries within walking distance.

Old colonial style propert well maintained. Beautiful place, welcome and helpful staff. Not too big or small, tea in afternoon was a real treat. Only 7 minutes from night food market - look for the Michelin star stall!

“A comfortable stay in the heart of Penang”

A beautiful hotel conveniently located right in the middle of Georgetown. It had a nice historical feel to it, but was balanced out with some chic and modern touches. The room was a good size and the bed was very comfy. There was an AC, as well as a ceiling fan - perfect for a long day out in the extreme heat! The staff were very kind and hospitable (plus being welcomed everyday by the beautiful scent of the lobby was a bonus)
