Lovely host. Mini private room in dorm. Very comfortable bed. Great location. Place to hang laundry to dry. Access to filtered water machine and fridge a huge bonus.

“Charming Heritage Guesthous in a Prime Location”

A great location, just steps away from street food stalls, restaurants, Prangin Mall, the free CAT bus stop, the Heritage area, and everything else you might need. This guesthouse offers a small kitchen, a communal sitting area downstairs, and shared bathrooms. A lady named Chin manages the guesthouse and goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. Always contactable via Whatsapp. I stayed in a room upstairs with a single bed next to the bathroom. It had a comfortable bed, a fan, an air conditioner, and a hanging rack for clothes. The Wi‑Fi was good, the shower had strong water pressure, and the street was quiet at night. The room and common areas were kept very clean.

Very friendly host! I was well looked after with many recommendations of places to see and eat. Nice location, walkable distance to most places in George Town. Clean and well air conditioned room. Provided a bath towel and bed has curtains for privacy.

Fabulous place to stay! Excellent central location, staff was extremely kind and helpful and made us feel at home. Toilets and showers very clean.

Perfectly situated in the middle of the old town and right next to one of the famous food markets. 5 minutes away from all the pubs and bars and only 10 minutes away from the jetty. The host "Auntie" is wonderful. She offered a lot of suggestions and tips and made me aware of local events going on in the area.

We had a double room on 1st floor with a window to the atrium which was spacious and - most importantly - had almost no traffic noise. Convenient location, great host, common bathrooms/showers are well maintained and clean.

Very nice hostel, it was quiet and not busy at this time. Enjoyed my stay, check in was smooth and all done online. I haven’t met any of the host/s but they were responsive always. Good stay in central area, everything close.

Very nice behaviour of the host. Access to kitchen, iron stand, sitting place, living room, etc. Facilities like slippers, umbrella, good wifi connectivity, and most importantly the great location. Definitely value for the money. The comparision is purely with the existing properties in the area.

The room and toilet are very clean. No dust at all. And very near to the food street. Bobo the staff is helpful and let us check out an hour++ later.

Clean room, very good air conditioning, very comfortable bed. Kimberly St night market, Chowrasta Market. 1st Avenue Mall, Prangin mall within walking distance. Lots of restaurants around the neighbourhood even though I didn’t try them, many options for breakfast!
