Overview
“Bernstorff Castle Hotel is located in the historical building Kavalérgården, just next to the iconic Castle. There are no rooms in the actual Castle, but the reception is located in the Castle's lobby and breakfast is served in the Castle's high-ceilinged rooms with a wonderful view of green meadows and Copenhagen skyline in the background. Kavalérgården can be dated back to 1832 and is beautifully situated in Bernstorffparken – a lush green park, ideally for morning runs or romantic walks. Downtown Copenhagen is just 10km away and can be easily reached by car or public transport. The hotel offers free WiFi and free parking. All rooms are equipped with tv, desk and a coffee/tea maker and of course a private bathroom. We look forward to welcoming you.

“Certainly something special”
An old country estate. Ideal for running in the early morning. Located in the middle of a huge 19th century park. Rooms are spacious but a little old. Do not expect the comfort of a contemporary city business hotel.

A great location in the middle of the park. Not so far away from the centre either, and the neighborhood is calm. A very easy check-in and check-out too!

The castle grounds were like in a fairytale, if you stay here, I cannot recommend it enough that you take a stroll around the grounds as all the nature takes you away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The rooms were very quaint and we melted into the beds when we took a nap. The blinds do a great job of blocking out the sun if you want to take a nice mid day nap.

“Perfect”
Lovely location with castle and surrounding park and free parking. Super helpful staff who give the place a family feel. Perfect if you want to be in one the best Copenhagen areas yet a bit away from the tourist crowds.

“Overpriced for what you get, but good and calm location.”
Staff are very polite - and super helpful. The room is like coming back in time - to the 1990's. Solid Danish made room which have not been updated for decades - its nothing special but it works!
