A great hotel that’s less than a minute from the train station, and within 10mins of key locations shops,cafes,restaurants and shopping centres. The service is magnificent and will always try and make your stay as comfortable as possible, any issues will be sorted quickly and swiftly, room service happens if you stay longer then 2 nights and they throughly clean your room in the mornings or upon request, the staff is lovely and have nice personalities and will always listen to your concerns. If you get the opportunity to try the spa and massages at this hotel the service is 5/5 stars and they always deliver via it be by giving amazing relaxing massages or incredible skin care treatments, my stay here for one week has been the best it could have been, thank you, Carbon Hotel-Differnent Hotels.

“One To Avoid”

One to avoid. Bedroom: Dark, many tripping hazards, huge (unmovable) TV blocks the window, bed really uncomfortable, bathroom light switches itself off after 2 minutes (like in the middle of a shower!), the toilet flush was faulty, the black toilet and basin showed dirt and stains (not good), the minibar not restocked with soft drinks, sockets for charging devices 3-4 metres from the bed. Restaurant: Four hours to complete dinner, tiny portions. Reception: no bottled water available to take to the room. Lift: buttons to select the floor almost invisible. Common areas: need cleaning. Overall: the ‘carbon’ theme dominates and makes the hotel dark and gloomy. Verdict: The hotel needs a complete rethink and a redesign.
