Surrounded by picturesque half-timber buildings, this hotel lies in the heart of the historic town centre of Gengenbach. “A charming hotel in the romantic old town of Gengenbach.”
The hotel is located in the very center of the Old Town. We got a better room than we had chosen. Very comfortable beds, a clean and functional bathroom. The hotel restaurant offers a good buffet breakfast with a reserved table. We met a large, old cat in the hotel section who seemed at home. You can park directly in front of the hotel on the street, paying for the city parking meter, which we did.

“Fantastic place to stay to visit Black Forest district.”
We spent 5 wonderful nights staying at this property. It is clean, spacious and absolutely comfortable. It’s a short walk to train station to commute to various towns.

“Great hotel, would definitely recommend”
We stayed in the guest house around the corner from the main hotel. It was fantastic. Lovely room and very comfortable bed. Breakfast, which was in the main hotel, was very good. The hotel is right in the middle of the town so a perfect location for exploring. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again

“Lovely stay in superb location and friendly staff, just needed better pillows otherwise a great stay”
Room was of good size and clean. Property provided garage parking at extra cost but this was well worth the price paid. The location of the hotel was absolutely fantastic, Breakfast was continental style and was very good

“Charming Stopover”
Well rin hotel ideally situated in centre of town with secure parking. Excellent restaurant and plenty of choice continental breakfast buffet included in the price of the room.
