“Fantastic place with super-friendly hosts.”

Thomas was a wonderful host - friendly and great communication. He provided tips for us on places to visit based on our interest. The property was light-filled, spotless, new, roomy and well stocked - including coffee pods and chilli and spices! The onsite parking was very handy, a there's a nearby grocery store. The town is walkable from the property. We would definitely recommend.

“Excellent place to visit the Black Forest, with great hosts 🐈”

Incredible as it may seem (because the pictures look awesome), the apartment is exactly as described. It’s a reformed basement but, contrary to other similar properties, this one is super bright and very well lit. Thomas and Marie are very clear, responsive and friendly. Nevertheless, the best host is Bella (their cat), hands down. She is 100% the cherry on top of this amazing property. We will certainly come back in the future, we still have a lot of Black Forest to enjoy and Thomas and Marie’s apartment is perfectly located for that purpose.

Location, accomodation and services superate the expectation. The apartment structure is quite new as the building as well. You find anything you need on the apartment. The kitchen has a dishwasher machine, stove, coffee machine with capsules,.... Living room with a big smart tv to watch whatever you want. Bathroom is amazing, the shower place is spacious. The bedroom is fine, with big wardrobe and a big bed. In general, the space is well distributed, very clean, with new and modern furnitures. The owner is an open-minded, flexible and a very kind person, who also let my daughter play on a big Trampolin outside. If I back to Gengenbach one day, I won't hesitate to contact again this place. Nice experience there!

“Perfect studio for Black Forest travelers”

The studio is exactly as it is presented in the photos. A new construction, part of a beautiful house, with its own entrance. Very clean, very spacious, very bright despite the fact that it is a semi basement. Fully equipped, smartly designed, meets all the needs for a "home away from home". It is located 2 km away from Gengenbach center, in a very quiet and beautiful neighbourhood. Thomas is a really nice guy, ready to help when needed. We were on a motorcycle trip and he let us park our motorcycles in his own, camera covered parking. That was a very important detail for us. Strongly recommended airbnb option for Black Forest travelers!

Thomas & Marie were communicative from the start, and really helped us with our plans for the area. They also went out of their scope of booking to help us with laundry. You are staying in a basement but it feels like a home on its own. If you are lucky, you will be greeted by beautiful Bella (cat). Great value for money, full kitchen, comfy beds. Clean toilets. Very spacious room. Supermarkets & cafe conveniently located across the road.

Perfect location for getting supplies from the local supermarkets. Easy access to the town centre:20 minutes walking distance. From there, it's easy to catch a bus or train for other places.

The apartment was spacious, clean and looked exactly like the photos. It was equipped with everything we needed. Marie and Thomas were friendly and helpful. For us the location was perfect with a twenty minute walk into the centre of the historic old town with lots of restaurants. As part of paying the tourist tax Thomas provided us with a Konus card which gave us free travel on all trains in the Black Forest area and reduced admission to museums.
