“The best homestay experience in 6 months of travel across Asia”

The best thing about Wayan’s is the attention to detail and small touches that make a big difference to the feeling of a place in addition to the incredible facilities. The rooms are luxurious and have everything you could need with plenty of space to hang up clothes and unpack. They provide small local treats and snacks and the air conditioning and fan works well. We have been travelling for 6 months and never come across a kitchen so well equipped and spotlessly clean as here. Side note: the whole place is spotlessly clean and the staff are extremely dedicated to maintaining the place to an impeccable standard. We loved cooking dinner here and having our morning coffee and cereal in the comfortable communal dining area! The team were SO helpful with every question and request we made during our stay and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The helped with airport transfer, bike rental, sorting onward travel and recommending quality local shops, activities and cafes. We have booked to come back at the end of our trip and in all honesty if we had known how much we’d like it here we would have just stayed for our whole trip in Siargao. Don’t hesitate to book as they fill up well in advance. Thank you so much!

Had a fantastic stay at Wayans. The hut was amazing. Had everything we needed and was very tidy. We were really comfortable. There was a great communal space that could be used for cooking. Slightly out the centre but we enjoyed that as it’s quieter and very accessible with a motorbike. You can tell everyone working there cares about the property and it’s clear from the upkeep. The best part about it was the staff. Em was so helpful with everything and communicative. From helping us rent motorbikes to sending very detailed recommendations of everything to do on the island which we used everyday. We had an unfortunate family emergency and Em really went out her way to help us with this - it was really appreciated and we will definitely be back in the future! Thanks so much.

Host was lovely and so were the staff too, our room was perfect - spacious, very clean and had everything we needed. Filtered water, a fridge, bathroom, A/C, fan, towels etc, couldn’t have asked for more. I would definitely recommend staying here! Great value for money

Everything was amazing. Our best stay in Asia so far. The staff is very lovely and always kept the outside and inside super clean. They helped us rent a scooter as well. The kitchen is fully equipped for proper cooking and a little beach is in walking distance. Very much recommended.

Amazing staff! Everyone was extremely friendly & helpful. The property is clean, comfortable & the best we stayed in Siargao. The outside facilities & kitchen are cleaned everyday. They provide ear plugs, eye mask, some treats etc. It’s located 5 min. away from General Luna (so a bit more quiet), but still super close. They also help with scooter renting, airport transfer etc. We stayed in both, the double Room & bungalow. 10/10 :-)

“Great place to stay in Siargao”

This was the most amazing place. Super helpful and friendly owner. Very clean and cosy. Hot shower, working wifi, great location - you can take tuktuk to General Luna for 100 pesos. The staff is super friendly and kind too.

I was looking for a stay away from the busy center. The homestay has a great location. I really loved the authentic vibe, the wooden design, and they provide a kitchenette too if you want to cook. The host is one of the most organized and helpful people I have ever met. She can give you lots of recommendations on what to do or visit, and even more. I even extended my stay here. I am glad I chose your stay, Em 🫶 I would definitely come back in the future.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Wayans in Siargao! The room was exceptional — spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable. Everything was perfectly clean and well taken care of, which made us feel at home from the very first moment. The location is ideal. It’s only about 10 minutes from General Luna (GL), so you’re close to the center whenever you want to be, but far enough to enjoy peace and quiet. We loved how quickly we could reach the town, while still staying in a calm and relaxing area. We actually ended up extending our stay because we enjoyed it so much! The owners were truly outstanding, they helped us with everything we needed. Even when we contacted them last minute without having a place to stay, they immediately found a solution for us. Their kindness, responsiveness, and genuine care made a huge difference in our experience. The common areas were also very well organized, beautifully arranged, and fantastic to spend time in. Everything was thoughtfully designed and maintained. Overall, an exceptional place with exceptional hosts. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Siargao! 🌴✨

Everything was great ! It's all about details, small hoose in front of your bungalow to wash your feet, sandals for the room. Good water pressure etc everything was super nice. Also the host was really nice to us and it was appreciated!

We simply adored our stay at Wayans and really didn’t want to leave. Em is so helpful and can support with scooter hire, local recommendations and airport transportation. The accommodation itself is beautiful and we really enjoyed being a little further out of the main General Luna strip (which is only 10 minutes away by scooter). We referred to Wayans as ‘home’ whilst we stayed there, and home is nothing short of the experience created by all the team. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
