Fabulous stay with jungle feeling! It was so nice and calm, only the music of nature. We enjoyed our 2 nights with full heart. Watching fireflies from the bed or on the terrace was amazing and so relaxing. Comfy bed, AC and good shower - everything we needed. The owners helped us a lot and very quick with every request we had. We‘d book it again!

I love the villa’s design and aesthetics. There’s 2 identical looking villas, the only difference is the balcony of one villa has the net hammock and the other has the bamboo tap with bath tub. I stayed in the latter. The water from the tap and shower is salty but they’ve provide fresh water for drinking and rinsing. The view from the rooftop terrace and balcony/bedroom are to die for… river, trees, sunrise/sunset, bliss! We enjoyed many cups of coffee/teas and chats there. The free use of paddle boat was a great addition to the overall experience.

We loved the stay at River Hideaway. Idilic and very cozy villa with comfortable facilities. Here you can use host provided boat, paddles or just swim in the river. Villa itself beautiful and at magical place. Also the host is very nice and kind person.

The environment is amazing, the river is really enjoyable, and there are some adorable cats coming sometimes. It overcomes the few negative points mentionned:)

Two beautiful bungalows / apartments have been created with a lot of love and feeling for the environment. In the middle of stunning nature, photos can hardly capture the beauty of it. That's why River Hideaway deserves a high rating; definitely go here, it's a fairytale! But......

“Unique stay in an amazing location”

A very unique experience and able to wake up in the jungle along the river was incredible, fully recommend staying here. The hosts were very responsive, had an issue with water pressure of which was fixed within 30 mins and the guy that came to help was incredibly lovely. The hosts also helped me to hire a bike from Abigail who was Fantastic and dropped the bike off to me when I needed it, even picked it up from my second accommodation a few days after leaving. Before you go important to know that this is in the jungle along the river so lots of bugs around so be prepared for that (girlfriend got nibbles quite a bit) and the water is salty from the taps and shower. As long as you can cope with that it's fantastic.

Amazing Jungle Lodge

The river is stunning. The little boat to expire the river was a plus. The nature around really makes this stay.

Beautiful accommodation located next to the river. View is amazing and the hut has everything you need. Bed is super comfortable also for tall people. Would definitely recommend this place! Quiet en serene place, but only like 10-15 min from GL.

Really Enjoyed the view and the romantic atmosphere. The interior of The Villa is really nice and you got everything to eat ordered food or cook yourself. Also the private Dock with the paddleboat and Swimming in the River was amazing.

Amazing view, you have a boat to explore the river. The interior is beautiful as well, very beautiful bathroom.

Very relaxing place that allows for a good disconnect from your busy life. The house is nice and, despite being isolated, everything worked. The owner was really helpful before and during our stay. A completely different experience compared to the main tourist area of General Luna.
