“How did this accommodation get such a high score?”

Spacious room

The homestay was clean and close to General Luna, with less noise at night compared to other places in General Luna (according to other people's opinions). You also have access to cold, filtered water downstairs. They also allowed me to have a late check-out so the driver could pick me up from the airport.

Clean and located in a quiet side road, yet very close to almost everything by walk. Cloud9 is also close by by bike or tricycle. Hosts are very kind and helpful with anything.

It was perfect, good value for money!

Large room with very comfortable beds. Good shower pressure. The homestay had a really good location. There was a flood in the bathroom overnight from the bidet, and the toilet stopped flushing. Luckily we had spare towels to mop up overnight! The staff were super responsive and fixed the issue the next morning whilst we were out.

It’s a nice place, clean, you can use the kitchen, the hostess is very friendly, I was alone - but I had four towels for the room, two large and two small, and a chair and table on the terrace

This is the second time i have stayed here. It's very comfortable.

“Clean, quiet, top service”

The hotel is clean, quiet and comfortable. The terrace is a nice highlight for enjoying a drink during sunrise or sunset. The location is perfect; everything is just a couple of minutes of walking. Moreover, the service/managment is smart and caring with clear communication. I can absolutely recommend it.

Cannot be better, especially when I compare to other accodation with similar price. I extended my stay here. Very clean! Wifi good. AC good! They always offer us cold drinking water.

The staff are very accommodating and super friendly. The place even though it's near the side of the road is quiet. We had to check in early and was charged PHP500 for it which what I was expecting.

They helped us with everything — renting the motorbike, airport transfers, quick responses, and more. The location is fantastic, very close to the port and the main street of General Luna. We had heard that in other hotels around the area, some Spanish friends experienced a lot of humidity, but that wasn’t the case at Pepayen — the air conditioning and the fan was excellent. I also want to thank Hazel and Mel, who were very friendly and helpful.

“A very nice stay”

We had a very nice stay for one week. All the room appliances worked well and we even managed to cook in the kitchen. Free water, coffee and tea are provided and we liked the small table on the terrace which allowed us to eat and have coffee looking at the nature nearby. Supermarket such as Tag are nearby as well as other restaurants and eateries. The public market and harbor are also in walking distance so most of what you will need for a stay in general luna is within reach.
