“I would definitely recommend Harana Surf Resort for anyone looking for a great stay by the sea”

A nice resort right on the beach with excellent service and very friendly staff. You are personally welcomed and the employees really know you, which makes the stay feel very warm and personal. I also had some lovely conversations with them. The property is beautifully maintained, the breakfast and coffee is good and the dorms are comfortable. The location is perfect, especially for surfing, with a great surf spot directly in front of the hotel. We also tried surfing at harana surf school, where the instructors were excellent. The atmosphere is relaxed and fun, and the weekly Saturday party is a great highlight.

Food wasnt grear and expensive

Amazing - certainly a 10/10!! They have great rooms, cleaned everyday and a lot of facilities (surf school, pool, beach club, bars etc.). Also, apparently Harana is the hot spot of Siargao as everyone knows about it for the coolest party on Saturday.

Staff were super friendly, grounds were lush and beautiful and loved the waterfront location. Close to lots of great options for food and coffee-we loved Coco Frio, Shaka smoothie bowls, and Lamari.

It feels like a resort. The staff are so friendly. The locations is perfect. Close enough to general luna but on the beach and quiet area very close to Cloud 9. There is not a communal hangout area but the actual dorm rooms and the seating area outside is very social. I was there for 5 nights but would have loved to stay longer.

My stay at Harana was simply wonderful. What I loved the most was the friendliness and care of the staff — always attentive and welcoming. Having a beach right in front of the hostel and a pool by the bar made the experience even more special. Even in a dorm with 13 beds, there were never any issues with noise or disrespect; all guests were very polite and friendly. The secret bar is absolutely stunning, and everything in the hostel is clean and well-maintained. I would definitely recommend Harana to anyone looking for a peaceful, clean space with respectful and kind people. It’s perfect for those who want the best of both worlds: a convenient location to explore the livelier spots of the island, or simply to relax and enjoy the calm and cozy atmosphere of the hostel.

Beautiful location at the beach, nice staff, resort with restaurant and nice beach

Staff were awesome, as we're amenities and cleanliness. Staff organised my airport transfer for 5:30 am and it was super punctual.

Hands-down the best hostel I have ever staid at. After an exhausting travel, arriving at this place was amazing! It's got such a relaxed atmosphere, the dorms are very cozy and clean, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and the food at the restaurant, including breakfast, is great! Plus, it's got a swimming pool and an area leading right to the beach, as well as an integrated motorbike rental and surf school. I am definitely coming back if I ever will be in Siargao again!

3rd time coming here, always extending and coming back, looooove this place so much. Perfect for chill, surf, work remotely (great wifi for visio meetings), close to GL. Dorm is so big, silent, cleaned every day. And in the end pretty social, always meeting chill and fun people - who also end up coming back :)

The vibe, the place, dorms are very spacious and comfortable, it was regularly clean, calm, and the breakfast included is very good ! I will come back if I come back to siargao ! Thank you

“Fabulous resort, would thoroughly recommend!”

Harana is located in a stunning tropical setting with a lovely beach nearby. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, they are a real asset to the resort. The food was exceptional, I particularly enjoyed the bangus sisig. Our deluxe room was spacious and the Aircon was welcomed. Its located nearby to General Luna town. The resort and grounds are extremely well maintained.
