Great location and an excellent view from the well equipped and well kept hytte. The staff is really taking good care of you. Make sure you rent a kayak for a tour on the fjord!

“Amazing, cosy and relaxing with a patio overlooking the Geiranger Fjord”

The chalet was cute and cosy for a couple.

The scenery is truly stunning! Although it's a 40-minute walk from the visitor center, it's well worth it. Because it was raining that day, we checked in early, at 2-3 PM, and stayed in our room. The cabin was cozy and inviting, with a glass window offering a direct view of the outside (facing the visitor center area) and a small gazebo with a table and chairs outside. The cabin was warm inside, and the kitchenette was fully equipped, with tea and coffee provided. If you didn't bring your own sheets and pillowcases, you'll need to rent them for an additional 100 NOK per person. The bathroom and toilet aren't in the room; they're in the shared area, but they're very clean. You're required to take off your shoes and put on the shared slippers before entering. There's a radio by the door playing music or the radio, so you won't feel alone.

The best thing was the view from the living room window looking across the fjord onto Geiranger. The apartment was spacious and comfortable and the reception staff member was very pleasant.

Amazing camping, you feel that the owners love this place and make attention to details, it's so clean (so important for them), and this view to Geiranger by night with the lights is just majestic. The cabin is cute and well designed. This is a different experience that deserves your attention.

Good view & friendly host

The host keeps the communal places like toilets and showers very very clean. I specifically like that they don't allow shoes in the cabin or the communal places. The cabin is decorated very cozy as well. Everything exceeded my expectation.

Location and amenities were great.

Lovely little cottage right by the water front. We could enjoy the breakfast in the morning sun. Beautiful view of the Geiranger fjord. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Perfect view, spotlessly clean. Very convenient for trekking to Skageflå – they offer a motorboat taxi to the trail entrance, which makes things easy. The trek back to Solhaug Camping is filled with stunning views and gives you a unique perspective of the fjord and waterfalls. The owners are very welcoming, helpful, and have great energy. Showers and shared bathrooms are extremely clean (leaving shoes outside and using the provided crocs inside is a great idea and makes it comfortable for everyone). We’ll definitely be back!

The owners of the property are very very sweet, just to give you an example, we had put the cloths in the paid laundary at the property and forgot to pick up. The sweet lady I forgot her name, neatly folded all cloths stacked them, wrapped them in Polly bags; without even expecting or requesting. She talked to us, as like her own family member. What else do you want when u come away from home. I felt so welcomed and honoured. Thanks again I will never forget the moments spent at your property.
