To be honest, my wife is a stickler for hygiene and cleanliness. When we got to our room, we thought it ticked the boxes and was value for money. However, when my wife sat on the single bed to get a fill of the mattress, she felt something on her bottom. When she lifted the sheets, discovered two syringes in their respective plastic bags. She was very unhappy because to us, it indicated that the sheets were not replaced. Subsequent attempts to contact reception were unsuccessful despite the signs in the office stating that the office was opened. Tried to ring but also without success. It was only the following morning that we managed to inform staff at reception. We would have checked out on the night but were too tired after driving front Canberra.
