Overview
Located in a pictureseque area of Gdańsk at the mouth of the Vistula River, Hotel Galion offers rooms with a private bathroom and free WiFi. The hotel features its own marina and a recreational area. Situated in Górki Zachodnie in the Ptasi Raj nature reserve, it is a 20-minute drive from Gdańsk’s Old Town. The on-site restaurant serves European cuisine and specialises in fish dishes. It overlooks the beautiful marina. During their stay, guests can go on organised cruises of the Gdańsk Bay or tours of the Ptasi Raj nature reserve and Gdańsk Old Town. Other activities offered include canoeing, windsurfing and Nordic walking. Mountain and trekking bike rental is also available. Guests of the Galion can relax in the hotel sauna, spa bath or use the gym, which is available at an extra cost. A children’s playground and paid tennis courts are also available. There is a sand volleyball court and a beach, which is 200 metres away.

“Disappointed with the room”
There were some recreational activities like Tennis, table-tennis and boxing that were available for guests for free when we visited, that's the only best thing about the place. Also it would be best to let them know that you need a beach view room with a balcony while booking which comes at an extra price.

I would not recommend it as a business traveler as it seems to be more suited to leisure/ families or youth/ teenage groups but it definitely has a charm to it. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. I enjoyed my stay there.

Breakfast was really nice. The place, where the hotel is is really nice and near the beach. I would recommend stay with car as it is a bit more far from center.

“Great relaxing place in the middle of nature”
Great surroundings, with seaside and forrest, even managed to see two deers in the forrest one morning. Very tasty breakfast.

Location was lovely if you looking for place far away from the city but by the beach. Where it’s located. Breakfast was very nice. Staff was nice and friendly.

The lamp attached to the side of the bed broke at night and fell right under my eye, giving me a black eye. I could have gone blind, I could have gotten an electric shock. If a child were lying in bed instead of me, it would be an extremely painful experience. The weirdest part is that when I showed the pictures when I was checking out in the morning, the woman at the reception just said oops. human security should not be this cheap.
