Overview
Hostel Universus is housed in a beautifully renovated, historic Royal Stables building, 100 metres from the popular Długa Street in Gdańsk's Old Town. It offers sunny rooms with free WiFi. Rooms here are decorated with warm colours and come with wooden floors. Each has a table, nightstands and shared bathroom facilities. There is a shared kitchen featuring a microwave, a fridge and kitchenware at the guests’ disposal, where they can prepare drinks and meals. Guests can relax in the common lounge. Hostel Universus is situated within a 2-minute tram ride from city’s main railway station, Gdańsk Główny. The historic St Mary’s Church is just 450 metres away.

“Comfortable stay, great location”
Helpful staff, clean and cozy rooms, great location - especially if you want to visit the Shakespeare's Theatre. Recommended to bring your earplugs. There are bars and clubs outside and it can be a bit louder with an open window.

Calm place with kind people, it's so good to sleep but you should to change a metal beds so noisy ,and also to put the towels and change the boxes of metal with the wood better.in general it's so good 😊

“What a great experience!”
I called at midnight to get a room, probably waking up the kind lady that answered me..and she gently gave me the instructions to book a room and to enter the hostel. Once I arrived I found the cleanest place, both the bathrooms and the showers looked in order and were spacious. The bedroom was very big and the bed was comfortable. Didn't have the chance to hang out in the living room but I had a look and it seemed very nice

“A great stay with an unbeatable location and a very comfortable atmosphere.”
The location was absolutely perfect, right in the heart of the Old Town. Everything was within walking distance, which made exploring the city very convenient. Also, since there were only two people in my seven-person room, it was a very comfortable and peaceful stay.
