Lovely local family running the place, very quietly located on top of a hill and also very nice to have a bar and a nice swimming pool with sun-beds and sofas around!!!

Beautiful place, great views, very spacious room and comfortable bed. Our host was very welcoming and helpful with recommendations. Accommodation provided kayaks at the beach just a few hundred meters walking, which were an unexpected treat.

The view from the pool was amazing, there was a full view at sunset, Costas made the trip, he was the best host we’ve ever come across and he truly makes the atmosphere!

Charakas Horizon in Andros exceeded all our expectations. The location is incredibly convenient, just minutes from the port, car rentals, beaches, bars, restaurants, supermarkets, and even a pharmacy. The property is beautifully designed, newly built, and every detail shows thoughtful care. The centerpiece is a stunning pool with sunbeds overlooking the sea and peninsula, creating an amazing place to relax. Comfortable outdoor couches make it easy to unwind outside with a book or enjoy the scenery, while sipping at a cocktail or having breakfast. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and well-equipped, including air conditioning, a fridge, day bed, private sunbeds, and a very comfortable bed. Even the lighting is warm and soft, so you can create a romantic atmosphere. It’s clear that every element has been chosen with guests’ comfort in mind. This place is an oasis for anyone seeking a relaxing, elevated experience in an intimate setting. It is perfect for honeymoons, babymoons, proposals, or anyone wanting a break from crowds, blending the untouched beauty of the Cyclades with the comforts of a boutique hotel. But what truly sets Charakas Horizon apart is the host, Constantino (Costa). His personality infuses the whole atmosphere as he is attentive and eager to make your stay outstanding, anticipating needs while fully respecting your privacy – and a genuinely kind guy. Whether you want total seclusion or friendly company at the bar, insightful travel tips, or local recommendations for food and sights, Costa goes above and beyond, drawing from his deep roots on the island. He is passionate about Andros and about making every guest’s experience special. The only downside was that our stay was too short. We left with amazing memories, feeling like friends, and are already eager to return. Charakas Horizon is a true gem on Andros and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting the island.

“An unforgettable stay”

The location was absolutely amazing, so peaceful and quiet, with a spectacular view of the sea. The room was spotless with a daily cleaning service every morning. The owner was friendly and helpful, giving us great recommendations on what to see and do on the island. We also really appreciated the beautiful Cycladic-style décor. We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing by the pool and the delicious Greek breakfast. We highly recommend this place to everyone!

If you want to get away from it all, give Charakas Horizon a try. Fabulous location and views, lovely rooms, pool and a fantastic host Kostas. Great for hiking although transport required if you want a choice of restaurants.

Constantino is absolutely fantastic and we’ve made such a great friend! His property is beautiful and very relaxed, he made us feel so welcome. The accommodation is peaceful, very clean and well decorated with amazing beaches close by. Any questions we had, Constantino was always available to answer and to show us around. The property was beautiful, a bit further from the port which makes it an ideal spot for relaxation. The room and the lounge/ swimming pool area were very nicely decorated and the balcony had an amazing view.

Beautiful location and views, delicious cocktails and breath taking sunset views along with really helpful and friendly staff. Really comfortable rooms, ample parking and beautiful quiet beach and great taverna 3 minute drive. Having stayed on a busier area of the island this was a lovely few days in a quiet spot. Costas the owner went above and beyond and drove to the port to bring me my necklace which I’d left after checkout. This is an example of how helpful they were through the stay.

“Stunning”

The exact place where it was, stunning! The sunset from our balcony room was lovely and romantic and Kostas the owner is super nice. He recommended really good secret places on the island where no one goes and thanks to him we visited amazing places. Breakfast is cheap and good tasting.

My stay at Charakas Horizon was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable, and had a beautiful view. The staff was exceptional- always friendly, professional and eager to help with any request. They provided great recommendations for local attractions and dining. The breakfast had a great variety, and the hotel's location was perfect for sightseeing. The fast Wi-Fi was a bonus. Highly recommended!

The location and the view was wonderful! The apartment was very clean and the pool was the ideal place to relax drinking your morning coffee or cocktail at night. The beaches close to Charakas were very nice. Konstantinos (the owner) was very polite, friendly and helped us with everything we needed and he informed us about restaurants, bars, beaches, villages etc.
