“Great hotel”
The man in the reception gave a really warm welcoming. That set the level of our experience. The room was simply good, quiet and well tidied. The breakfast lived up to our expectations of a great breakfast. A good practice with scheduled breakfast intervals.

No soundproofing and could hear noises from all around us. Small room. Hotel felt cheap and dated for the price. Breakfast average.

“Excellent stay”
Great stay overall. The room was clean, comfortable, and well designed, with very comfy beds. The staff were friendly. The hotel is pet friendly, which was a major decision points for us. Very nice breakfast as well. Access from the parking house was easy and convenient. The location was good and te area was quiet. I would happily stay here again.

“Scandic CH Gavle - 1st Timer”
The location is central to all. Walking distance to train station. Busses outside the door. The room was large re accessible room. We didn't need this and found toilet hard to use. Some staff not helpful. Charge for lobby coffee?! No info about property at check-in and had to pay extra for early noon arrival but hotel was not full Tues night. Breakfast very busy. Need more coffee, juice, water stations. The did have food for purchase at front desk. Sandwiches, flatbread pizza (not so good).
