Breakfast was ok only.

Location was very good , short walk to the Main Street and there was a tram stop outside as well ( free ). Rooms were ok , basic but clean . The hallways and lift were not clean and didn’t smell very good at all! This let the place down ! Breakfast was not good either, we didn’t eat and went else where . On the whole it is a reasonably priced place to stay , you pay for what you get .

“Balcony overlooking the Babbling Brook”

Large spotless comfortable room, friendly welcome at reception. The highlight was the balcony overlooking the brook - we ate our takeaway pizza there, listening to the babbling of the water - and dissuading the raccoon who came to share (luckily he was not too persistent). OK breakfast - scrambled egg and sausages. Waffles and bagels etc.

“Terrible hotel. I won't be back.”

This was a terrible hotel. I had a bad experience: the TV—a Smart TV—didn't work, and the interior of the hotel was in poor condition. On the second day, my room wasn't serviced. It was a truly awful hotel.

The breakfast is terrible. The breakfast is set up in a meeting room with dirty round tables and dirty chairs. The hotel looks more like a roadside motel, and the rooms are similar. The price completely fails to match the level of the hotel.

“Very unique hotel on the riverside”

Exceptional hotel with a fireplace in the room! I also had a small balcony facing the river. Lots of squirrels going around along with the calming sound of a mountain river. It was only a short walk into town with plenty of shops and restaurants. The town is very touristy so it's very busy. They also give you bear instructions (no food in the car etc), apparently sometimes bear come into the garden!

I really liked that there was a stream outside the windows. The view from the balcony is simply magnificent.

“Very disappointing and unclean”

The location was nice, we saw a black bear come past our room a couple of times during our stay which was cool. We also appreciated the plentiful parking and pool

Easy to find all the amenities around. Good parking. Good price. Place to get ice. Staff nice and friendly.

Location away from noisy centre worked for us. We drove to the centre to eat and found free on-street parking every time. Car parks are exorbitant. Free but infrequent tram to centre.

“A decent hotel close to Gatlinburg's action.”

We love the balcony facing the brook. The staff is friendly and the hotel is a nice walking distance to the main attractions. The grounds are nicely kept, we were there too early in the season to enjoy the pool.

“Fijn verblijf, rare geur”

Super nice and helpful staff! Location also very nice with a view of the river!! The room was nice and bed was comfortable. Upon entering the room a somewhat weird smell. I think this is due to the carpet. The window was left open, but the smell did not diminish. The bedding also had this strange smell. The bathroom was fine and had a nice sink. However, I did find hairs on the bath mat in the bath… Bottom line, had a nice stay, apart from the smells. If you are sensitive to unpleasant smells, it is not recommended.

“Very enjoyable vacation.”

We loved the comfort of the bed; we slept like babies. The breakfast was delicious and the price unbeatable for $5. We also enjoyed the pool, fire pit and absolutely loved the rushing creek behind the lodge. You must visit Emma in the front office, she is adorable.
