The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was good, and the room was massive! It had lots of light, and a separate room off the lounge/dining area. The free coffee was a plus after a long journey too.

Our room has the best view of Zugspiste mountains. The room is very spacious and nicely decorated, of course there’s things that we need that’s already been provided. Breakfast was something I look forward to every morning during our stay, everything was carefully prepared and supper tasty! Bravo!

The location and views from the property were fantastic. The staff were very friendly and helpful with suggesting nearby activities. The room was lovely and comfortable. The hotel provided a variety of amenities which I wasn't expecting including breakfast delivered to your room and hiking gear that you can borrow for free! I really appreciated this! It totally exceeded my expectations at the price point and I would highly recommend staying here!

Clean, comfortable and cozy room, which has everything you need. Even an extra backpack with a mug and a blanket, for comfortable walks in the mountains. Hospitable staff. And very tasty breakfasts. I liked everything very much! This place is worth my recommendations.

Had a great stay! Loved the breakfast boxes delivered right to the door – such a nice way to start the day. The location is perfect, within easy walking distance to both the old and new town centers. Parking was hassle-free. Highly recommended!

The owners were very friendly and accommodating. The mattress was extremely comfortable, and overall the accommodation was very cosy. The breakfast was great and included a lot of local/regional products (big shout out to the coffee, way better than 99% of accommodations I’ve stayed at!)

“The place stay in Garmish”

Great stay at Das Nordberg. Confortable beds and clean room. Breakfast is seved in the room, brought every morning at your door. Good choice and variety of foods that you7 can order every day for the next day's breakfast. A small but very wel equiped kitchenette is in the room, so we used it to prepare our dinner. In every room you can find a backpack that can be used during the stay on day trips. We found this a very nice extra. We used the backpack on our ski trips. Great location close to restaurants and markets (Lidl, Edeka, DM) We also received public transport tickets valid for our entire stay, so if you don't want to use the car to get to the skilifts,, public transport tickets are provided bu the accomodation. Great communication with the hosts. Thnak you Marijke en Malte! We will definetly return to Garmish and stay at Das Nordberg.

Great location for a walk to both part of the city. Nice commute nearby. Parking available on the street in case if guesthouse spots are occupied. Very helpful hosts who provide valuable information to start your stay. Nutritious locally sourced breakfast to kick off the day with fantastic view on Zugspitze. Chillout and relaxing atmosphere to rest after exhaustive day full of sightseeing.
