Lovely hotel in old town.

Such a lovely welcome and felt like there was no rush. Room was so beautiful with a lounge area also which was superb. Bed was very comfortable and everything was spotless clean. Dinner was super as was breakfast. Reception staff are a big bonus to this hotel!

The front of the hotel is beautiful. The decor inside is very unique and nothing like we've ever seen. The room was small but very comfortable. The best thing though was the balcony which was on the corner and allowed us wonderful views. The breakfast was good, the staff very welcoming. We loves the prosecco on arrival!

“Classic Bavarian accomodation, amazing location, amazing reception staff”

Great location right on the main strip of Partenkirchen. The reception staff was amazing and very accomodating. The sauna was beautiful with great views. Don’t second guess staying here if you love the old style Bavarian culture and feel!

The hotel itself is beautiful, location is fantastic from central station and close to bus stations to get around. The view from the balcony and rooms are unbelievable too. Staff were very friendly, knowledgeable about the town and happy to help

“Fabulous choice!!”

A gorgeous property in the BEST part of town! Lots of shops nearby, including supermarket. The staff are so polite and helpful, our new Slavic friend offering us a Prosecco ,water and juice! Lovely girl on duty 23/5 so helpful letting us eat our lunch and helping with buses. The price was reasonable for the town too!

“4 star hotel 6 star service”

Breakfast was good, rooms were comfortable, hotel atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. Parking was not a problem. Positioned really well for sightseeing and information available was good. The fellow on reception, Nebojsa, was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was done with a smile and a great sense of humour. A true asset to the hotel.

Beautiful old building on the famous Ludwigstraße. Large rooms with comfy beds and kettle in room. Whole hotel beautifully furnished in traditional style and furniture. By far the best hotel we stayed in on our trip around Germany. Staff were exceptional.

“Beautiful, amazing and thoroughly enjoyed our time here .”

Garmisch is such a beautiful place and so was the Atlas Grand Hotel. We travelled with two children aged 12 and 17 and they absolutely loved our time at the hotel. We were greeted by the softest ,most helpful concierge who couldn’t do enough for us. He was kind, chatty and had very good English which started off with a lovely welcome drink. That was only the start. The hotel was beautiful with grand pianos, large old styled sofas and lots of panelled wood themed rooms. our rooms spacious ,clean with a similar theme running through the hotel. Our view from the room stunning looking straight at the snow covered mountains. Once finally settling we decided as a family to try the Sauna which was a short walk from our room. The view from the Sauna was spectacular. We travelled for 5 weeks through Europe and Garmisch was near the start of our trip. Garmisch was one of our favourite spots possibly due to the Atlas Grand Hotel.

“Overpriced and run down Grand Hotel”

Well, I like hotels with a different character than business hotels. And this one has history and character. But it doesn’t live up to be a Grand Hotel. It is absolutely overpriced for what it is in reality, an old and rundown hotel.

“Charming historic hotel with character”

Nice historic hotel in Parenkirchen town centre. Bus stop very close to hotel for easy link to Garmish. Free bus pass included with daily tourist tax so take advantage of that. Great large sauna facilities and superb views of mountains. Helpful and pleasant staff. Superb breakfast!!!

“A cozy stay with mountain view. Totally worth the price!!!!”

From the moment I arrived, my experience was flawless. I absolutely loved my stay, especially the cozy room that offered stunning mountain views right from the bed. While my initial check-in was a bit uncomfortable due to a staff member who seemed unhappy in her role, the gentleman working the evening shift completely turned things around. He was the epitome of hospitality and made me feel truly at home. He is a perfect example of how great service can transform a simple stay into a memorable vacation.
