“Passion is life”
it’s a really cozy hotel, lovely atmosphere and passionate people! very well conducted, we came in the evening, at 20:30 and had our dinner (the cake with pecans & chocolate is delicious 😋) and could stay in the room alone and relax. Outside nature pure 🫶🏻

“Fab family run hotel with very comfortable rooms”
Friendly family run hotel where nothing is too much trouble. Room was of a good size with comfortable bed, great shower and (near) blackout curtains - essential for the midnight sun! Also had access to a guest lounge with comfy seating and big screen TV, although there was also a smart TV in the room with access to all the usual streaming services. Didn't eat in the restaurant but did get the breakfast, which whilst modest was value (by icelandic standards). All in all a great stay and welcome respite from a busy day sight seeing.

“The most comfortable hotel we had in Iceland”
Here we found the most comfortable bed and pillows of all of our time in Iceland (we've been to 7 hotels so far all over the country). Plus the view you have in the dining room is gorgeous. After arriving from a long, exhausting day, we borrowed a book from the shared book shelf, took a warm tea that was offered in the entry hall and sat down to enjoy the reading and the view. The breakfast was really high quality, with fresh fruits, bread, charcuterie, cheese, juices, coffee, and granola. We had an amazing stay and would come back if in the region again.

“Cosy country hotel”
The place was in the middle of nowhere, but easy to reach and well indicated. Plenty of parking. Lovely views. The staff was helpful and kind, and they have a dinner menu in the restaurant. They provided free coffee and tea in a very nice area. The room was big and the bathroom was clean.

Ideally located in the diamond circle, this hotel possesses the old charm of a truly hotel. No light pollution permitted a clear view of the starry night right in the countryside. Plenty free parking was included outside of the hotel. The hotel room was clean and warm, very compact to be exact, with a large window. A meal was offered at an extra charge, but we didn't try it.

“One night in Skulagardur”
Very clean, big, stylish and comfortable room, completely equipped (we had also a very practical table). No noise at all. WiFi was free of charge. The breakfast room was cozy, the choice of food and beverages was not too wide, but of high quality. People at the reception were very kind and helpful. A perfect staying. Thank you!

We liked everything: the hotel is super nice. Extremely clean and comfortable. Beds and pillows comfortable. There is also an annex with a huge kitchen that the guest can use. We saw a very nice northern light.

Such a warm, cozy place. I was welcomed with a big smile and had an amazing dinner on-site. Room are very comfortable. It truly feels like being home. I can only recommend!

The saff were lovely, tried to help with every small question. We also had dinner there, it was very delicious, felt like home. The portions were big. The self served kitchen was very close to the room, there is everything you need. Also there are coffee in the main hall, that is open 24/7.
