Large room and bathroom,clean, comfy bed but pillows could be better. Kettle in the room. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice, but labels were in Norwegian only, no English and the staff in the breakfast room didn't speak English. We had to use the translate app. Check in and out very quick. Nice staff.

The room was so much more impressive than we were expecting for an airport hotel - really spacious with a nice shower and huge comfy bed. Huge pillows. But basically we were here for the breakfast - Norway airport hotel breakfasts are EPIC and this was no exception. So much choice, so much to eat, we had so much fun. We've stayed at the Clarion at Oslo airport before too, there's not a whole lot between them but I think the Thon just edges it.

This Hotel is a huge machine! Staying 2 days off season was very good value for the money. If you find anything wrong with your room I would recommend just informing the front desk and they will sort it out. Maintaining such a Monster of a Hotel is not an easy task. So with so many rooms it's sometimes hard to keep every room in tip top shape. Overall a pleasant stay. Be aware that the doors look with a few minutes delay. This is a legal requirement I think as a few years ago people died in a hotel fire who rushed out of their rooms, forgot the keycards and could not get back into their rooms. So now every door looks with a delay. If you leave your room and want to lock it immediately, just use your keycard and do it manually.

We were originally dropped at the wrong Thon Hotel and then would have had to wait for at least an hour there was a wonderful lady at reception who took us in her own vehicle to the correct hotel This kind action was much appreciated by us both -- a little bit of humanity in this world .

Outside of the banquet and breakfasts the possibility for eating in-house was limited. As the restaurant was fully booked we were directed to a buffet, which was highly priced for the restricted choice of a cheese + tomat salad, some cured meats, and some cooked chicken. Potatoes were available but no other vegetables. The dessert was very good with diced fruits, Creme Catalan, and pastel de Santa Iago. The served food was good but a wider choice for the required price would have been much better experience! Staff were positive and helpful.

Excellent staff and facilities at the Hotel, the kitchen staff were very helpful and accommodating since one of the Guest was lazy to work up for breakfast. They made is so convenient to pack away breakfast for him. Very cheerful and lovely Staff
