Overview
Just 500 metres from Standford’s Cove beach, this bed and breakfast offers rooms with free Wi-Fi, and balconies overlooking Walker Bay. We have private balconies for all rooms with a shared lounge and Satellite TV in the lounge. Rooms at The Bay Lodge are decorated in soft colours and include a seating area. Each is fitted with a ceiling fan and heating. All come with a private bathroom. A buffet breakfast is served daily at The Bay Lodge. It also has a shared kitchen with a fridge and a microwave. Several restaurants are within walking distance. Gansbaai is 3 km from The Bay Lodge. The staff can arrange boat-based whale watching and great white shark excursions.

A nice hotel in the city, with a good location and atmosphere. My room was beautiful and spacious, and everything was perfect. You can relax in your room on the terrace. The owner lady was very friendly and always helpful. A delicious breakfast is included in the price. The entire stay was great. Really recommend

“Delightful De Kelders!”
The area is peaceful, quiet & safe. Lovely view, even from the downstairs room. As it's October, we had some decent whale sightings, which was great! The hostess is a friendly & lovely lady who is attentive & kind to all her guests. They serve a lovely, full breakfast. I would go back again. 😀

It was an absolute delight staying at Villiera's lodge. Our room was perfect with a lovely balcony offering sea views. Perfectly located in De Kelders, Villiera gave us great recommendations for restaurants and activities, and breakfast was delicious and plentiful. If visiting the Gansbaai area, I highly recommend staying at The Bay Lodge.
