Really lovely service provided by the owner. Happily drove us to shark cage diving and back when we needed to get there and back. Room provided everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The best option to stay anywhere in Gansbaai.

Beautifully furnished for a guesthouse which is over 100 years old. The rooms were very cool as compared to the heat outside. The mattress was very comfortable and the room cleanliness excellent

“We would highly recommend to to stay at Schooner House when visiting Gansbaai.”
The host, Derik was very friendly and helped us with early check-in. He recommended the coffee shop across the street for breakfast the next morning. He was right it was the best coffee we’ve had. Next to the Schooner house is a pub as well. Very central and easy access. We would definitely visit Schooner house again.
