“No better hosts and property at this price and location.”
We appreciate highly the comfort and peace during the stay at EUNGABI PENSION ROOM NO. 101 from June 5 to June 13,2026.The hospitality was associated with warmth and kindness by the couple (who took our care) was exceptionally good. We highly recommend visitors to stay at this place very close to beach and lake, location is wonderful and ambience delights.

“Authentic Korean feel”
Authentic Korean feel. Superbly clean. Staff were very helpful. Nice quiet spot. There is a great seafood restaurant about half a kilometer away, near the burger bar.

“A peaceful, comfortable getaway just steps from the beach”
I had a wonderful stay here. The location is fantastic—just a two-minute walk to the beach—and visiting in November meant the area was peaceful and quiet. The room itself was spacious, very comfortable, and very clean. While having a car is helpful for getting around the area with ease, there are convenience stores and cafés within a short distance. Overall, it was a great experience and I would happily stay again.

“Very pleasant stay!”
We only stayed here for one night as a stopover. Unfortunately, due to the bad weather, we couldn’t do much. The pension is close to the beach, and there are two convenience stores about 500 meters away. The room was nicely decorated, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and clean. We had a pleasant stay here!

“Best birthday trip stay”
The place was amazing. The room, especially the bathroom, was bigger than expected. Everything was clean. The hosts were super friendly and generous. They were very helpful to tell us about the area and also lend us beach supplies when we were going to the beach. Overall, I really enjoyed my time there, and I am looking forward to going back for another vacation. Thank you to the lovely hosts for ensuring we have a good and comfortable stay. (The room looked exactly like it does in the booking photos)

The bed was missing bed linen. There were no towels. Untidy outside. Old-fashioned. Kitchen lacked essential kitchen utensils.

This place is a dream — just a 5-minute walk from one of the most beautiful and peaceful beaches I’ve visited in Korea. The pension is stunning; in June, the garden is full of blooming roses. The staff were incredibly kind and always happy to help. The room was spacious and cozy. 🌹

The incredible nice owners who helped with everything they could. The pension itself is very pretty and cozy- we loved the morning sun on the balcony. The near distance to the beach. Café and convenience stores are in walkable reach.

“A very nice guesthouse”
A nice guesthouse not far from the sea. We were I think the only guests as it was the offseason. The room was interesting, as it was more "Korean style" than the ones we stayed in earlier, with a futon bed, a low table with no chairs. It was an interesting diversion from the regular guesthouse fare. The room was a bit cold at the start but we turned on the mattress heating and it was more than enough. The owners met us when we arrived, don't speak too much English but are very nice people. When we had a request, they were very quick to help. Theere was a parking lot next to the guesthouse.

I travelled to Gangneung with my family and chose to stay at this place. Staff was very friendly and answered all our requests, room was clean and cozy, there is barbecue zone where we cooked meat. Seaside is just 5min walk. Will choose to stay there again next year.
