good location in a walkable distance from the railway station close to the city centre. The place is simple, but clean and it was good value for the price.

Honestly the room was bigger than expecting and it was nice and close to the train station which meant I was able to walk which is always nice.

I had a lovely stay at Aark House and I recommend it without hesitation!

Everything was great! Host was a total sweetheart. Gave me some recs of what to do and also gifted me a hat because of the cold.

The staff was super friendly. Check in super uncomplicated, even though it was a last-minute booking. The rooms are cute. There are 2 single rooms, one double and one 4 bed bedroom. They all share a bathroom and kitchen as well as a small lounge. I had the whole place for myself as it was off-season.

It’s a really cute place. Feels homely and comfortable. Lots of info on local stuff to see and do. And the lady who looks after it is wonderful! Super kind and helpful. Great coffee nearby too.

Staff was very nice and accommodating while I visited Gangneung. The bathrooms and toilets are very clean ! There is a rest area and kitchen with fridge, freezer and cooker. There is a cafe very close to this place. Overall, highly recommended.

Very clean, cozy bed, friendly owner and good location in the city. Everything is easy to reach with a bus or even walking.

Really cosy and peaceful hostel, the rooms were spacious and the curtains on beds were a nice extra.

It was located in a quiet part of the city but was also near enough to the city center if you wanted to go out, and the buses that were heading toward the beach were only a 10-minute walk down the street.

The hospitality and space were lovely. The location is great, especially if you're coming in by train. I spent my trip in the downtown area, and everything I wanted to do was in walking distance. There was also a space to leave your bag if you come to town early before check-in, which I would take advantage of if I stayed again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Aark House! Facilities were very clean. The owner was lovely and gave us great recommendations 😊

“15 Walk to Gangneung KTX/ITX station.”

Great location, I walked to all the places I wanted to go to. It's in a Central location. It's close to Gangneung KTX station, 15 minutes walk. Host is very welcoming and very helpful. The place is full of supplies, from toothpaste to sunscreen. I will definitely recommend to other people. I will book again. Felt safe as a female solo traveler .
