The way they handle the security deposit is very inconvenient. At check‑in they charge a $200 guarantee. When you leave, hours later they send you an email asking you to come back to the hotel if you’re still in the area. If not, you have to reply to the email so they can refund the deposit to your card. And even then, the refund takes a full week. In total, you get your deposit back about 14 days after check‑out. On top of that, you have to manage every step yourself; if you don’t, it really feels like they’re trying to keep your money.

“Never again”
You have to purchase water or drink from the bathroom theres no variety on their breakfast only bread,eggs,muffins and somethings that looked like sausages which were very oily. Our room had animal fur on the mat inside the room and nomatter how i shook it it never cleaned off. The room needed a deep clean. The rooms are not soundproof i could hear footsteps of my upstairs neighbours until 1am

The staff were welcoming and nice. The pool, although closed, was very nice and clean and would have been very nice to have a swim in had it been open.

We booked for 3 nights, but checked out on the second day. They didn’t refund us for 1 night, which was appreciated.

“Weekend to relax”
The room was clean and toiletries were supplied. We stayed during Easter weekend so it was very quiet. The motel is within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The casino was a short distance to drive

“Stay away”
Housekeeping: we asked for weekly, but had to call and they didn't come that day to change linen and towels. Reached out again and they placed the linen/towels in our room. Breakfast: On 2 occasions when we tried to attend breakfast, there wasn't any breakfast setup and no front desk staff to ask. The linen is gross 😝 ripped and stained!!!

The owner was is very professional, he has taken an aging building and spruced it. It is very close to everything in Gananoque and walking is a reality. Rooms are large, I had 2 King beds, bathroom is updated and large and he does a small breakie at a great price point.
