“Wonderful home stay experience”
The family is lovely and welcomed us with smiles to their home. Our daughter was treated like part of the family. The home cooked Sri Lankan Food was amazing.

“A night in paradise”
We arrived by bicycle after climbing 1200m. So we were exhausted! Straight away, we were shown to our room, where we could change out of our stinky clothes, and served hot tea. The view from bed was stunning - overlooking a lush valley with a thousand shades of green. Squirrels scuttled around the plants on the balcony, bringing into sharp focus how lucky we were to be living in nature. Our host prepared an authentic Sri Lanka meal from scratch, and we ooooohed and aaaahed all the way through. It was difficult to leave the comfort of the home the next morning, but we managed. Lovely friendly hosts. So warm and kind.

We spent one night in Travels Nest to visit Ambuluwawa tower. We received very warm welcome from the family and felt at home there from the first moment. As it was late evening they offered us delicious dinner and we also had excellent breakfast there. Our rooms were nice and clean with large terrace and the house itself is very spacious and elegant. We had interesting conversations with the family and their two little girls are supercute. It is 20 minutes by tuk tuk to Ambuluwawa tower from the house. We really enjoyed our stay there and we can recommend this accomodation for 100%!
