“Loved to stay there”
It was so nice being there. The hosts are so nice, the beds are so comfy. The rooftop just amazing and its so close to the Tower . Loved it there.

We really Enjoyed our stay at Ambuluwawa View Inn The family are so warm and welcoming. The property is immaculately clean and very comfortable with fresh linen and towels provided. The breakfast was delicious and filling and can be made for whatever time suits your needs. They also do an evening meal for a good price, which is equally as nice. The view from the chill out terrace is amazing and feels like a tropical paradise with a view of the tower itself. Lifts can be arranged up to the tower, which I would recommend, as it is a very steep and winding road. There is a laundry service available and scooter rental. The rooms have a kettle,with teabags and sugar provided. Free WiFi is also available. The shower is nice and warm with the option for a cold water shower on hotter days. Shampoo and Body wash is privided for free also. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 days there and would definitely recommend staying here to visit Ambuluwawa Tower.

“Vera cute homestay!”
Very Nice homestay. First floor were the rooms and bathroom. They had a very Nice relaxing rooftop at the second floor. Rooms and bathroom were clean. Big breakfast with a fruit platter, toast, omelet and yoghurt. It’s a litteken out of town, we stayer for one night and decited to have dinner too. When mom cooks it has to be good!

Amazing host family, beautiful big and clean room! I had the honour to celebrate my birthday here, so they even got me a birthday cake super quick as a surprise. The roof is amazing to chill and very calm, a little further away from the main road, which we loved. Easily one of the best homestays, if not the best, we had so far in Sri Lanka.

“Would highly recommend”
Very nice friendly and helpful family. The owner took us up to the Tower in his tuk tuk for 2,500 LKR and waited for us while we climbed the tower. They also organised a taxi for us to Kandy. Breakfast was very nice too.

Nice people, clean spacious room, good bathroom with hot water, he arrange Ambuluwawa tour for good price and is very helpfull, you must book this! They also offer breakfast, dinner and drink options

I stayed one night at Ambulawawa View Inn in Gampola and had a wonderful experience. The husband and wife team were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they have a 7-month-old daughter who is an absolute cutie. The inn was very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was exceptional. They even kindly drove me to the Ambulawawa Tower. I would definitely recommend this inn for a pleasant and warm stay.

The house is nice and cozy surrounded by lush greenery. It has calm and positive vibe. The family who runs the accommodation is very kind. There was also an option to order a dinner. The owner offered to take us by tuk-tuk to visit the tower.

“Really comfortable and really good for the money you pay.”
It is the room of a family ‘s home. They are attentive and nice. The WIFI works PERFECT! The shower has hot water. It is really clean room. The food was really yummy. We got chicken pasta and it was amazing.

“Disappointing, I wish I hadn't gone.”
The facilities were very good. They had hot water and it was clean. The host was very friendly and always willing to help. Although when we posted the review, he called us several times to remove it, bordering on harassment. And then he lied in his comments. Quite a childish attitude.
