Nice and quiet location. Great for relaxing and enjoying the Toscan surrounding. We loved the ‘in the middle of the nature’ feeling sitting at our veranda in the evening’s. Spotting deers and hearing nightingales sing. Very emphatic owners.

“Countryside relaxation”

The accommodation is absolutely lovely, well equipped, kids were in love with the pool, which is quite large. Location is nice, if you want to move away from the hustle and bustle of larger cities or even from the nearby San Gimignano.

We had an amazing stay in Agroturismo la Burraia. The Owners made us feel like home and provided outstanding delicious breakfasts. The property has a lot of green area to spend free time and a lovely pool. It is situated near interesting day trip destinations as San Gimignano, Volterra, Certaldo, Monteriggioni. Place is dog friendly.

Great location for visiting Toscana, quiet in the middle of nature, a nice pool, wery kind hosts, and a friendly little dog.

“Nice place to stay with amazing owners”

Very glad that we stayed in this property. It turns out that since the beginning of the year this place has new owners, so the old reviews are not very applicable. Hosts are very kind and considerate – we missed the connecting flight and they agreed to wait for us to check-in even later than the deadline, were always in touch via the booking com, respond fast. After the check out when reached the next destination we discovered that we forgot the laptop charger. Hosts by themselves contacted us t inform about it and then even sent it by Italian post to our hotel – unexpectedly wonderful! They speak very good English, so it was lovely to talk about the area, local tips and have conversations about many other things. Breakfast was served on veranda, it had everything you can expect from such place, including freshly made bakery. Room (in fact a small studio with kitchen) was spacious, with good working AC(!) and all the toiletries. Wi-Fi speed is good but sometimes there were some drops of speed, because the interned is received via radio signal from nearby bigger city. Very good view to the valley, nice pool that is cleaned every day, silence and sounds of nature that are like a lullaby at night. Overall it was a wonderful stay, we wish to return again next year!

“Two night stay, mother & daughter, home away from home.”

My mum and I stayed at La Burraia because we travelled from Australia to see Andrea Bocelli in Tuscany (wonderful experience) and wanted somewhere close to stay a couple of nights. After some days of long travel, it was so lovely to arrive at a place that was friendly and relaxing. Bea and Frederico welcome you into their “home” and treated us like family. A long breakfast on the patio of our room and a chill day by the pool was just what we needed after a busy itinerary (and a late night due to some carpark exit chaos from the concert…I add this just to inform anyone who may be doing the same thing!) The location of the property made it so easy to access various towns in Tuscany and would be an ideal “home-base” had we been staying longer in Tuscany. We went to dinner at a lovely local place called La Rustico which was recommended by some other guests. Everyone we met by the pool or the next door apartment, where lovely and undemanding and had a desire to appreciate a slice of Tuscan life with agriturismo The place is authentic, clean, spacious and would be ideal for those looking for a home away from home for a few days (or weeks…I wish!) :) Thank you Bea and Frederico! It would be my dream to come with even more family in tow one day xx

Softer mattresses

We booked a 9-night stay here, and it was a perfect choice. I spent the most beautiful time of my vacation with my family. The place is beautifully located, the apartments are lovely and cozy, maintained in impeccable cleanliness. The surroundings are also delightful, with a wonderful view and a pool that was cleaned daily. There is peace and quiet all around, just as I had dreamed. It's also an excellent base for tours to famous cities like Pisa, Florence, and Siena, as well as nearby towns such as San Gimignano and Volterra. The owners are amazing, helpful, and extremely hospitable. Upon arrival, we received delicious Tuscan wine. On departure, we were given wine, drinks for our daughters, and wonderful hugs from the hosts. Will we return? We will definitely return!

The apartments are big and super comfortable. The property is huge, green and extremely peaceful, and extremely well placed in the center of Tuscany, with easy access to anywhere. But, what I liked the most and what I will treasure the most are the hosts - Lovely family, extremely kind, private but also chatty if desired, good vides and very welcming. It was a real pleasure to meet them, really hope we will see them again at come point.

What’s not to like here: the view, the pool area, the fresh air, the gardens, the hosts and their kindness. We stayed for 4 nights and if you have a car or rented one, this is the place for your base camp. From here you can easily reach: Florence, Sienna, San Gimignano, Val D’Orcia, Chiantigiana, places to taste wine and enjoy the views while you’re relaxing with a glass of Chianti in your hand. The hosts were extremely nice and eager to attend to our needs. We arrived late at almost 9 pm from visiting Florence, and we asked if we can have something to eat…anything. In 10 minutes we were served with a platter of local food and a bottle of Chianti red wine. The room was more than enough for a family with 2 kids and very comfortable. I recommend to also take the breakfast package. It’s a good start of the day. Not expensive and delicious: croissants, prosciutto, ham, cheese, yogurt, honey and other pastries. Thank you so much for making our stay pleasant and comfortable!!! My daughter wants to come back and play with your granddaughter :)

“UNFORGETTEABLE”

Phenomenal and unforgettable stay. Great atmosphere, amazing views, friendly hosts always willing to help. The stay with three small children (4,7,9) was peaceful and chill. Close to the most popular attractions of the region. Thank you very much and see you soon. Greetings!
