Overview
Offering direct access to the slopes of the Galtür Ski Area, Hotel Garni Birkhahn is 50 metres from the Alpkogel Cable Car and 1,500 metres from the centre of Galtür. Guests can relax in the on-site sauna free of charge. The rooms are furnished in a modern Alpine style and feature cable TV and a bathroom with a hairdryer. Some have a balcony overlooking the mountains. Ski passes can be bought at the Birkhahn Hotel’s reception. A garden with a children’s playground and free private parking are available on site. From December until April, guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. A ski school is 70 metres away. Cross-country ski runs start right outside.

The hotel is located directly on the ski slopes. From the ski cellar you can ski directly to the gondola. Beautiful view of Wirl and Galtur. Spacious and clean rooms. Pleasant owners, excellent communications. Good quality food. The quality matches the price.

“Excellent location, hosts, food, skiing! Would stay again - and would stay in another season also.”
The location was great! We appreciated being able to ski in and ski out and that made for a great, flexible family trip. The location of our room in the hotel was excellent also. Our hosts were amazing - so helpful and they spoke English and went out of their way to assist us with everything we needed and even helped us get our van out after the snow storm. The food was delicious. The option to have bread brought in the mornings was great.
