Overview
This 4-star hotel in Galtür is right next to the ski slopes and hiking trails. The Almhof offers a 600 m² spa area with an indoor pool and a fitness room. Most of the rooms have a balcony overlooking the Silvretta Mountains. Hotel Almhof’s spa area includes a Finnish sauna, a bio sauna, a herbal steam bath, a Kneipp pool, and a relaxation room with water beds and panoramic mountain views. A wide range of massages is available. In winter, the restaurant serves Tyrolean and international à-la-carte cuisine and fine wines, with live music offered in the evenings. In summer, half-board includes a breakfast buffet and a 4-course dinner with a salad buffet. There are also 2 bars and a sun terrace. The spacious rooms are furnished a traditional or modern Tyrolean style. They feature a seating area, satellite TV, and a bathroom. The Almhof also features a children’s playroom and a ski storage room with a ski boot dryer. Free private parking is available on site, and garage parking is possible on request. Mountain bike trails and cross-country ski runs start right outside. The hotel has ski-to-door-access to the Galtür Ski Area. Ischgl is 10 km away and can be reached with a free ski and hiking bus stopping 50 metres away.

“A great skiing break at the Almhof”
Everything was just great. From the unbeatable location, very friendly and helpful staff, amazing breakfast buffet, excellent food at dinner (we booked half board) and at the restaurant next to the slopes. Nice size rooms with plenty of storage. Great bar, too.

“Ski holiday”
Location is super. Like all Huber hotels I have stayed, service is fantastic. Very effective delivery of service (e.g. catering, cleaning…) and really customer-oriented. Many 4/5-star hotels in Europe could learn from Huber family..

“Exceeded our expectations with location, service hospitality, and food quality.”
Super friendly and helpful staff from the front desk, to the wait-staff, to the cleaning crew. Great facilities. Rooms were large and well laid out. Spa was very nice. Ski storage was convenient and right next to a gondola upon exiting. First-class dining. Was not comparable to typical resort food, instead it can compete with excellent restaurants. We were always stuffed after dinner. If you order your lift tickets via the hotel they will have them waiting for you the next morning.

Problem: Everyone has a table assigned. I could not find mine and had to wait 10 minutes for a waiter to show me where is was hidden. Better to have someone available to take people to their assigned table Limited selection available, frequently ran out of everything

Fabulous location; genuine ski in - ski out. Recent refurbishments have been done to a high standard. The staff are very helpful and efficient without being "in your face".
