“Excellent pool! Tasty breakfast.”

The pool was fantastic. We really utilised it while we were there. The breakfast was great. Good sized rooms, tasty breakfasts. Offer a tuk tuk service to the walled city. We did utilise it.

The room was huge as was the bathroom and shower was awesome. Breakfast was incredible and love the local breakfast. And the owner was helpful particularly allowing me to enter through their own property as we had a huge downpour with thunder and lightning to get inside. Thank you.

Nice property. Clean. Nice pool in the garden overlooking the coconut trees. Beach is a short walk up the road. Galle dutch fort and the old town is a short tuk tuk ride away. The hotel can book the tuk tuk for guests , very convenient. Breakfast was tasty western and sri lankan both options available. Generous portions.

The rooms were spacious and the pool was nice. Staff were really friendly. I had traditional Sri Lankan hoppers for breakfast.

Delightful stay - very welcoming and helpful staff. Quiet location and excellent breakfast and dinner. Great tuk tuk service. Large private covered balcony to sit on and a good price.

The staff goes above and beyond to make the stay comfortable. The breakfast is good and swimming pool is very comfortable. Since the villa belongs to a family, it feels very safe as female travelers.

Overall great experience. Nice location close to galle town and beach. Staff was friendly and helpful. Place is qiet calm and peaceful. Rooms were spacious including all the necessary facilities.

Friendly people. They help you very good.The neighbourhood is great. There are a lot of birds, squarrels and monkeys in the garden. Nearby the beach.

The location was good, near beaches and Galle Dutch fort was 7min drive away. Room had good aircon and was tidy. The staff were helpful, carry bags to rooms and having breakfast set up promptly

“Amazing Windy Garden”

Windy Garden is amazing! It's a family run guest house and the hosts are incredibly welcoming and helpful. The staff are attentive and friendly. It's in a quiet street off the main road, but only 10 minutes in a tuk tuk to Galle Fort. The deluxe rooms are spacious, light and spotlessly clean. A table and chairs on the balcony is perfect for watching the birds and monkeys in the garden and catching the sun rise/set. There's a choice of breakfasts to suit all tastes. They are delicious and huge! There are lots of things to do around Galle, apart from the fort, and the kind and friendly tuk tuk driver, Ruwan, will happily take you for a very reasonable price. The Kanneliya rainforest is a beautiful trip that I recommend. I have no hesitation in saying this is the best place to stay on a visit to Galle!!
