The location is excellent, close to everything, and with a rented scooter you can easily get anywhere from here. The staff were extremely helpful and always went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The accommodation is brand new and very well equipped, from the bathroom to the kitchen. Since everything is new, I needed a few extra things (as I love cooking), and they were happy to arrange them quickly for me. There’s also a Keells supermarket nearby, just a few minutes’ walk away. The room is spacious, and the pool was excellent. The air conditioning and the fridge worked perfectly. Overall, we can only say good things about this place, and since we visit Sri Lanka every year, we will definitely stay here again whenever we are in Galle.

Booked here as a treat for my partner’s birthday whilst we’re backpacking South Asia. Idea was to find a nice, well-equipped place to have a couple of days with home comforts and Villa DEE DEE fit the bill perfectly. Very spacious, comfortable and within walking distance from the Fort as well as grocery stores. Chandana made sure we had all we need and was a great host!

I like everything about it, the place is very spacious and spotless, exactly as shown in the photographs. Very friendly staff and very attentive to guests. It's a short walk to the main road and from there to the Fort or a quick tuktuk ride. Having a toaster, a kettle and a fridge It's very convenient. I wish I could have stayed longer than one night.

“A perfect place for a pefect stay in Galle”

A perfect place for a perfect stay in Galle. A very spacious spotless clean apartment with lots of air, powerful AC and two ceiling fans. Relaxing colors of the interior, comfy bed, very well equipped kitchenette, lots of space for your stuff. A big dining table and chairs, good lightning. In a quiet side street but at the same time everything you need - the fort, railway and bus stations, Keel's supermarket within a ten-minute walking distance. And amazing staff, in our case it was Mr Chandana and his young assistant - helpful, hospitable, efficient and smiling. Thank you so much 🌺.

Great stay at a Villa DEE DEE, would highly recommend this accommodation. Chandana and his son were very friendly and accommodating. They’re Happy to help with anything. Kitchen was well equipped, comfortable lounge area. Bed was comfortable and had a light duvet instead of just a sheet. We had the apartment with the pool which was lovely to use after a day out exploring Galle. Would definitely stay here again.

“Great clean and spacious top floor apartment !”

Very new spacious apartment in a quiet location about 10 minutes walk from the Fort. Easy to pick up tuk tuk if you don’t want to walk. Spotlessly clean. Big comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen, huge bathroom with big bath as well as shower, much to my husband’s delight. . Quiet efficient a/c units and fans to keep you cool if needed. Both the owner and Ridisara were extremely helpful. Ridisara met us on arrival, took both our very heavy suitcases into the apartment and explained everything we needed to know. He was extremely polite and very helpful. He also gave us his whatsapp number incase we needed anything else while we were there. The owner gave us lots of suggestions of places to visit which was also very useful. All in all a great place to stay. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay outside the Fort.

Amazing place! Walkable distance to the fort, in a quiet area. The apartment looked new and was spotless, extremely well equipped kitchen! The hosts were incredibly kind as well. When I left behind a bag in town, they stopped everything and drove me there to get it. Thank you so much! ❤️

Very spacious and clean property. In a nice secluded location but with quick and easy access to Galle fort and the homeowner was very welcoming and helpful!

“Beautiful apartment and very friendly staff”

The owner and staff in general were very helpful and friendly. The owner gave us a lot of good travel tips and their cheerfulness was contagious. Rooms were big and clean. Especially the room on the highest floor was amazing with its gorgeous bathroom and roof terrace. The location is perfect, in quiet area but still walking distance from Galle Fort.
