We had a lovely stay! The host was very kind and always welcomed us with a warm smile. The view is amazing and the beach is calm and perfect for relaxing. We visited over the weekend and enjoyed the live music at the nearby bars, along with great cocktails and food. The host also prepared a takeaway breakfast and delicious coffee for us, which was a really nice touch. Great value for money! 🌞🌊☕

We had a fantastic stay! The breakfast was delicious, and the sea view was absolutely beautiful. Being directly at the beach made it even more special. There were plenty of great restaurants and bars nearby, and this place also had amazing kottu. Highly recommend!

It is a quiet place on the beach with a lovely family. I really liked my room which was very spacious and comfortable at this point of my traveling and did not mind too much having to take a transport to go swimming to Hikkaduwa beach, 20 m by bus. They have sunbeds on the beach available anytime which is very enjoyable and 2 restaurants. Almost a private beach. I really felt I could rest there and it was very welcome. I stayed 8 nights. Thank you!

“Peaceful and welcoming”

You feel welcome and like a part of the family. You are located direct at the sea. This experience is the real meaning of a guest house- by a person with a big heart. The host was coocking for us and was always helping and kind. If you are looking for a peaceful stay- this is it! The room standart is basic but the heartfelt welcoming is the real value to come here.

Very nice family very good breakfast

The host is a very nice and helpful, she welcomed us with a fruit smoothie and chatted with us for few minutes. We had breakfast and tasted her home cooked meal for dinner and it was delicious. The room was spacious, clean and fully equipped. The beach is right behind the house, there are sunbeds and umbrella available, so a big plus.

The room was beautiful and very comfortable. Run by a lovely family who were always happy to help. Breakfast was great, especially as it was overlooking the ocean!

“Piece of heaven”

We were welcome by Amami and her family, as we were part of it. It was our third stay in Sri Lanka and the first one where we felt home. The room is quite and have a shared terrace with the other room, with a beautiful view on the ocean. We took our delicious breakfast from there. Amami is a kind hearted person, and she will do everything she can to make your stay memorable. She even helped us to catch the bus in front of her house to go to Galle (10mn). The proximity with Galle while being in a quite place was priceless. I hope we will come back to visit and stay longer in that place.

“2 night stay just outside Galle”

Lovely balcony with a great sea breeze. Amami welcomed us ( her mum currently unwell), served us drinks and breakfast, always happy and smiling and willing to help with transport queries or any questions. Quiet at night and slept with the windows open, no mosquito net over the bed but didn't get one bite. Cost 350-400 SLR for tuk tuk to Galle fort so really easy.

We only stayed one night, but it was enough to see how truly kind and welcoming this family is – especially their lovely young daughter, Amami. For us Italians, her name was already a sweet surprise, but her perfect English, warmth, and engaging conversations made it even more special. They treated us to fresh juices and a delicious breakfast, and the highlight was the seaside terrace with loungers and a breathtaking view. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the area

I enjoyed every minute with Chatu, Amami and the rest of the family. Everyone is very welcoming and helpful. The accommodation is very clean, the food is delicious and the view of the sea is breathtaking. It's great to be able to sit on the balcony in the evening and listen to the sound of the sea. The homestay also has direct access to the beach. As a woman travelling alone, I felt more than at home here and especially loved Chatu and her older daughter. I wish the family all the best and will certainly come back again one day.

Wonderful! So friendly and clean and well positioned.

Wonderful hosts. Wonderful location. Chathu and her daughter Ama were so kind and welcoming. Chathu had us feel as if we were close cousins to her. When we left she hugged my wife with real affection. Ama and I had some interesting conversations about life in general. The location especially with our elevated balcony rooms was very good. It felt like home. The minor isuues were minor only.
