The lady on counter was not soo friendly. the price for meals are soo high . the bedsheets was not white . they don’t have the place for smoking.

This is a modest guesthouse but the staff, location and food make it unforgettable. We had 4 nights there and ate there twice. The dinners were beautiful. One of my Sri Lankan highlights has been sitting on the roof or the other out door space sipping a cocktail and watching the community at play in the huge park opposite - and the sunsets!. The staff are overwhelmingly helpful and kind. It is within the fort and only 100 metres near a swimming beach.

Excellent location inside Galle Fort, just a couple of minutes walk from many attractions and restaurants. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Lovely roof top bar as well. Room was lovely, very spacious and all facilities were very good.

Clean, modern room in a great location, pictures don’t do the rooms justice. Roof top bar was great for sunset drinks. Warm, powerful shower.

Seagreen Guesthouse was in an excellent position in Galle overlooking the Fort. It was quiet at night - there is a school next door so mornings were a bit noisy but it didn't bother us! Earplugs were available! Roof top bar a bonus to watch the sun set. Staff were friendly.

Loved this hotel. The staff were very helpful and the location was superb. Loved being next to the large girls school because their singing in the mornings was beautiful. The hotel has a rooftop bar which was a brilliant place to watch the sunset or just chill. A great find.

Great location. Rooftop bar is stunning to watch the sunset. Bar good for snacks. Inside city walls so everything very accessible. 10 min walk to train station.

This was our first stay in Sri Lanka, straight from airport, very friendly staff, good English, lovely room , comfy bed, good bathroom. Roof bar . Great location for town . Good value.

Fabulous location, very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay here (4 March 26), sunset cocktails at the roof top bar, bar snacks (garlic prawn toast!) also ended up having dinner here (grilled prawns, garlic butter, salad and wedges) breakfast AND lunch the next day. Yes, the food is great here and well priced. Staff are very helpful and friendly, the barman is fantastic and he makes a mean drink!

“Great value guest house and great location with scope to further improve the customer experience”

Our party of three adults had rooms 1 and 2. Both rooms were clean with good temperature control. The very limited storage was a non-issue for our one-night stay. Bathroom was functional with a decent hot shower. The staff were very smiley. The roof-top bar is simple but a real plus, looking west over the ramparts with locals gathering on the grass to watch the sun go down. The hotel was more than adequate for our short stay.

Lovely guesthouse in the heart of Galle Fort and walking distance to everything. The rooms are large, airy and very comfortable. There’s a beautiful rooftop bar where you can watch the sunset over the ramparts, plus another communal space on the first floor to sit and unwind. Breakfast isn’t included, but it’s abundant and delicious and well worth ordering. The hosts are warm and welcoming, making it a really easy and enjoyable place to stay.
