Amazing family ! Nice room and house, beautiful location !

We had a wonderful stay at Sanithu Homestay in Galle. We are from Tamil Nadu, India, and truly felt at home here. The place was very neat, clean, and well maintained. The owners were extremely kind and their service and hospitality were amazing throughout our stay. The food was absolutely delicious and made our experience even better. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Galle

“Wonderful Stay with Warm Hospitality”

The stay was very pleasant. The room was spacious and air-conditioned, and upon request, they arranged a table inside my room so I could work comfortably. The Wi-Fi worked well throughout my stay. There is also a common kitchen for guests, which includes a fridge. The balcony has a lovely hammock where you can relax while enjoying the view of their beautiful home garden. Overall, it was a great stay at a very reasonable price. The family who host this place are extremely kind and friendly. When I checked out, they even gave me some homemade coconut milk sweets, which was a very thoughtful gesture. I would highly recommend staying here.

Really nice people, very welcoming.

I had an excellent stay at Sanithu Homstay and Villa Galle.The room was very clean and comfortable.The owners Champika and Ajith treated me as a family member which made my stay truly special.They were very friendly and always checked if I need anything and always provided the best support. I had very good breakfasts and dinners cooked by Champika.But those who want to cook their own meals, they have a shared kitchen very well equipped with everything needed. Highly recommend for anyone looking for comfortable, peaceful,trustworthly place to stay.

Stayed at 'Sanithu Homestay & Villa' recently and had a very pleasant experience as a frequent traveler. The host family was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed, which made the stay feel very comfortable and personal. The food served at the property was excellent freshly prepared, tasty, and maintained with good hygiene standards. Both the room and the garden area were neat, clean, and well-kept, creating a calm and charming atmosphere that is ideal for relaxation. The location is also convenient, being close to Ginthota Junction while still offering a peaceful environment away from noise. Overall, it’s a great choice for both short visits and longer stays, especially if you appreciate warm hospitality and a homely setting. I would happily recommend this place to other travelers looking for a comfortable and friendly stay.

“Best homestay in Sri Lanka”

I had an amazing experience at this homestay! The family who takes care of it is adorable, as soon as you arrive, you can feel confortable. The single room was clean and really convenient for the price (you get a mosquito net, a fan, somewhere to charge european devices…). It was really peaceful with areas where it was easy to rest and the rice and curry was excellent ! Perfect place if you want to chill, only 20-30 minutes from Galle if you take the bus (which can be done easily).

“I had a very enjoyable and relaxed stay and wouldn't hesitate to return.”

For me the location was ideal. The homestay is situated in a beautiful quiet rural setting but only 10 minutes by local bus from the centre of Galle. I was able to spend the day exploring Galle then quickly leave the noise and traffic behind and return to the peace and calmness Sanithu Homestay offers. The family are lovely genuine people who really enjoy their work and are very kind to their guests.

“Amazing stay with lovely family”

The family that runs this guesthouse is amazing! We planned to stay here one night, but ended up staying one more. The room was simple, but comfy & clean :) we had pleasure to taste Sri Lankan pancakes for breakfast and they were delicious!! Would definitely stay again :)

Such a lovely home and family! The upstairs rooms and dining area is gorgeous, and theres a clean shared kitchen if you want to cook for yourself ! Would definitely come again :)

“By far the best place I’ve stayed in Sri Lanka so far ❤️”

My favourite stay in Sri Lanka so far. The warm welcome from the family and they are so attentive, always making sure that you are ok and have everything you need. The place is stunning. So peaceful, immersed in nature. You have monkeys swinging in the trees in the garden and neighbouring gardens. Squirrel’s, the most magnificent brightly coloured birds that I have ever seen. It’s set back from the main road but everything you need is within walking distance, train station, shops etc… I originally booked to stay for 4 nights, and I have extended twice. I am a solo traveler and I feel safe and comfortable here. The beach and Galle is only a short tuk tuk ride away. I have fallen in love with this place, the nature, animals and the family. I’m not sure when I’ll leave. Thank you for welcoming me into your house and family.
