We had an absolutely fabulous stay. The property felt very safe, comfortable, and peaceful, with quiet rooms that made it easy to truly relax. Each morning we enjoyed a delicious homemade breakfast, which was a real highlight. The hosts were incredibly friendly and caring, and went above and beyond to help us make the most of our trip. They provided great recommendations for places to visit and even helped us connect with reliable transport options, which made everything so much easier. Overall, they made our vacation effortless and genuinely enjoyable. We would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back again.

Ranil Ranil's Villa is a very welcoming and comfortable family-run hotel. Our room was very comfy, with A/C, fan, fridge and four-poster bed, with a large terrace balcony overlooking jungle to the rear of the hotel. All was kept very clean The pool is a welcome relief after a hot day, and there is a beautiful beach just across the road, boasting several bars / restaurants, all serving excellent food. We had delicious and plentiful breakfasts at Ranil's and a fantastic evening meal (you would need to check if evening meals are being served when you book). The owner and his family made us very welcome during our week's stay, and we would not hesitate to recommend it.

Very relaxed atmosphere, Ranil and his family are wonderful and will help with any request or query you may have. Located close to the beach and a short bus ride to Galle town. Wonderful breakfast spreads and highly recommend a stay here to experience the best in local Sri Lankan hospitality.

“Great villa stay”
This is an excellent guesthouse. Very relaxed and comfortable, with super friendly staff. They provide a good breakfast included in the price and optional dinner at reasonable cost. Ranil's wife is a great cook. Ranil is helpful in every way and his dog Lola is so cute. The place is a short tuk tuk ride to Galle Fort. Also Ranil can advise on nearby sights...safari etc. He organised my driver back to Colombo and a canemaking workshop which was an amazing experience. Everything is clean and tidy and the vibe is cosy. I will stay there again.

“The real Sri Lanka”
Ranil and his family were really special and did everything to make our stay wonderful. Breakfast was very good as were our other meals. The room and bed was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the shower was excellent. The room was serviced regularly and fresh towels and bedding were on hand. Our balcony was large and comfortable with a 'jungle' view, monkeys included! The beach was huge and uncrowded with some delightful bar restaurants. So good we're going again.

A very clean place, with a lovely and special family who took care of everything we needed and beyond. We enjoyed the room, the pool, and the breakfast. It’s a small and intimate place. The breakfast was varied.The family room included two bedrooms, a small living area, and bathroom. The view is wonderful, and there is a large accessible balcony on the floor that belongs to the room.The family room was on the upper floor. You need to climb stairs to reach it. For us, it wasn’t a problem, even though we were with two small children.

Amazing stay! Ranil was super kind and helpful, recommending a fantastic restaurant called Bara and giving us great tips to get around the city. The room was modern, spacious and very comfortable, with a terrace and pool view. Breakfasts were delicious, the pool was spotless, and we had so much fun playing with their adorable little dog. 100% recommended!

“Fabulous food and family”
The rooms are a good size. The showers are hot with great pressure. Ranil and his family are lovely, nothing is too much trouble. The highlight of our stay was the food! You have to try the grilled lobster and prawns with salad and chips, our best meal in SL. The whole property including the pool is clean and comfortable. We loved Lola the dog too.

This is a villa located 5-6 kilometers away from the ancient city of Galle. The villa has convenient transportation, an elegant environment, a swimming pool, and good water quality. It is worth mentioning that the landlord and staff are very friendly and enthusiastic, and provide a very delicious breakfast. It is 2-3 minutes away from the beach. The beach is quiet and beautiful, and it is a good experience.

Ranil couldn't do enough to help us, evrything was very good, pool was a great plus and he even cooked us a meal on the BBQ.
