We had a great stay! The owner was super nice and very helpful, the apartment was clean, warm water and the air conditioning worked very well (cooled down the bedroom super fast, best what we have during our trip). It’s bit far from the fort-main attraction (as expected from the maps) but the location is decent. Overall great value for money and would stay there again!

Wonderful host, who is very accommodating and gives good advice on where/when to visit places in Galle. The hosts were generous to share their New Year’s traditional food with us which was very tasty and kind of them!! The apartment is very nice and spacious so perfect for a couple. In a peaceful neighbourhood. The breakfast is nice and simple sri lankan food.

It’s a really nice place to stay a bit away from the city hustle. It has lovely balcony where you can see fireflies during the night. The breakfast ist very good and everything is working perfect at this place. Also the owner is super friendly and always there if you need any help.

“Wonderful host in a homely apartment”

The high score reflects the pleasure we had in meeting and chatting with the wonderful host, professor Renuka De Silva, whose command of English language is outstanding and who is very interesting to engage in conversation. The property is large and spacious, and although a little out of the city is not too far to walk, eg, to the fort, but a bit of a hike if one were carrying a backpack. It is opposite a mosque which during Ramadan, is the site of some nighttime celebrations, but we were not disturbed as the bedroom is at the rear of the property. Breakfast, made by the host was good, consisting of omelets, aappa, and fruit. The fittings are a little dated, but the rental represents exceptional value for money, especially given the space. Air conditioning of the bedroom was very efficient, cooling the compact space very quickly. There is a kitchen available for guests with a kettle, toaster and fridge, which together with the sitting area and balcony, make the property ideal for a longer stay to explore the area.

The host was friendly and helpful, the food was good and the appartment was nice and clean. He put my drying laundry inside when I wasn't around while it started raining. I recommend it!

The host was really polite and friendly, food is great and the facility is really big in size, a lot of room. Great value for money!

“Lots of amenities, great location, friendly host”

We had a lovely apartment with a bedroom, bathroom and kitchen with a sink, fridge, stove and amenities. Our host Renuka was extremely friendly, he answered all our questions and helped us plan transport. Would highly recommended staying here! We also did ring making and visited a turtle hatchery and beach within a short walk. There was room in the room or on the balcony to stretch and do yoga. Thanks so much Renuka

This is a whole apartment with a fully equipped kitchen, which is great and we cooked a delicious Chinese meal ourselves. Outside the room is a large terrace and garden, with monkeys jumping among the trees. There are washing machines and drying racks on the terrace, which is very convenient for drying clothes. Not far from the apartment, there is a great beach by the sea, the walk by the sea is very pleasant, the sand is very fine. The landlord is very welcoming, enjoys communication and is willing to answer any questions you may have. Breakfast tastes good and changes every day. We had a very relaxed and comfortable two days in Galle, thank you landlord!

Convenient easy walk (approx 1.2km) to railway station and Galle Fort. Good size terrace with chairs, own kitchen with kettle, toaster, hob & fridge. Aircon and also own washing machine too.

“Lovely Apartment”

Mr. Da Silva was friendly and very eager to help with traveling tips and in general. His wife cooked a lovely dinner for a very fair price, breakfast was good too. The apartment was nice and as advertised, kitchen, dining room, bathroom and bedroom. The AC in the bedroom and the fan in the dining room worked properly.

Renuka is an amazing host - we arrived after a very bad experience and he immediately welcomed us - he is chatty, beyond helpful and accommodating nothing is too much trouble. A really lovely gentleman 🙏🏼 we had a lovely little apartment- THE BEST AIR CON we've had in weeks in Sri Lanka as well as the HOTTEST SHOWER - Renuka is ethically sourcing too. He got up as we had a 5am start and made us fresh sandwiches and fruit. He provided a plug so I could use the hairdryer - all the little things that make this an outstanding place to stay. It's really lovely having your breakfast brought in on the little laid out table in the lounge/diner. The apartment is really cute and comfy with 4 little rooms but feels like a palace. Highly recommended 👌 5✨️'s

Great host at princely apartments and replayed to my e mails very promptly Also spent time with us on arrive to give us information about Galle Property it self was great With a nice cooled A/C bedroom and fully equipped kitchen And breakfast supplied was tasty

Mr Renuka de Silva is a wonderful friendly host who is able to offer useful local advice about restaurants etc and onward travel advice or any information you need. The apartment is very spacious and only 25 minutes walk (or short Tuk Tuk ride to the Fort area) Supermarket 10 minutes walk away.. A most friendly welcome!.
