Superb location with good access to beach. If you reach there by the sunset time you will get to enjoy a superb sunset view from the beach. Hosts were friendly and polite.

Perfect location. I had a room overseeing the ocean and the room was very clean and comfortable. The staff is also wonderful. They have a nice restaurant where you can order food and drinks. Quite and clean beach. Much quieter than neighbouring busy tourist hotspots.

I made two bookings. One from the booking.com website. The other I made by installing the booking.com app. I paid for one booking. But when I got to the place, they said they didn't see the booking I had paid for earlier. They said there was no such booking. Where did my payment go? Please refund it. I also canceled the other booking.

We stayed at Onyse Beach Cabin for 2 nights and had a really lovely experience. We were specifically looking for a simple, nature-close place right by the ocean – and this place delivered exactly that. Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the waves was something really special and made the stay very relaxing. One thing we were a bit concerned about beforehand was the main road nearby, but in reality, traffic noise was hardly noticeable – which was a big plus. What really made the stay stand out, though, was the lovely couple running the place. They were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. The food was also very delicious and clearly prepared with care. And the view from the terrace overlooking the ocean was simply beautiful – a perfect spot to relax and unwind. Thank you for the wonderful moments – we really enjoyed our stay!

Really lovely family that run the place. Location is super fab! We stayed in one of the beach cabins the sound of the waves at night was awesome! Mattress was comfy and we had a mosquito net, no fan but it had a natural breeze floating through. Also rented a scooter for the time we were there. Highly recommend staying here considering price and beachfront positioning.

Wonderful & peaceful place to stay. Room overlooking the beach. A really chilled place to stay. A husband & wife place who were really lovely & friendly. The food was amazing too.

Water pressure in the shower was one of the best we had on our trip in Sri Lanka. A nice bonus is the terrace where you can lay down, relax and watch the ocean. Breakfast was very good.

Cute cabins by the beach - listen to the waves (they can be very loud!) Toilet and shower in the same room and only one for everyone. Basic but for the price it’s ok. Bus available across the road to Galle and onwards.
