“Amazing place to stay near Galle fort”

There is a clean pool for the summer and an amazing view of the lake. The breakfast is served with a lake view. They serve an amazing breakfast - english breakfast with a customization on request. They have a vending machine with bottled drinks and the price was reasonable. The host was kind and arranged a cake for my birthday. Food was priced in par with the star hotels outside and was decent. Overall it is an amazing stay near Galle fort along the coast.

Megabe Villa in Galle is a great option if you’re after a quiet, comfortable stay with a relaxed, homely feel. “One of the Best Places We Stayed”

We had the pleasure of staying with a truly wonderful and friendly host who even spoke very good German with us, which made our stay even more special and personal. The room was absolutely incredible — without a doubt one of the cleanest rooms we had during our entire trip. Everything was spotless, beautifully maintained, and very comfortable. Our host fulfilled every wish we had and was always helpful and attentive. The garden is absolutely stunning and creates a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. We loved it so much that we extended our stay - even after we officially checked out at 12 a.m., he allowed us to spend the whole day by his amazing pool. We swam and relaxed there until the evening, enjoying the beautiful view of the lake behind the property. The ambiance is simply fantastic, calm and stylish, and the location is perfect — you can reach the town quickly and easily. We highly recommend this place to everyone. An absolutely amazing stay!

The outdoor experience is really beautiful. You get to sight quite a few birds. And you can also sight a few monkeys near the lake, outside of the stay premises. Perfect for slow mornings.

Included breakfast was very good, served by the swimming pool. Close enough to visit Galle but taxi or bus. Great wildlife around - monkeys, exotic birds etc.

Very nice pool area. Good for sitting in the evening, or even breakfast outside. Both room and bathroom is okay, room was clean and spacious. It is short tuk tuk ride from here to city centre, making it a good location.

The pool area was excellent. The owner flexible and helpful.
