“Pretty, peaceful location with helpful owner”

Helpful owners, taranga and nandana, were charming and provided a simple delicious breakfast. Location is north of Galle. Easy to get a Tuk Tuk into Galle. Loved the flowers casacading over the stairs and balconies

Felt like part of the family. The wonderful owner gave me a ride into town, I left me luggage there after checkout and when I retired to collect, his wife made me tea and cookies even when I checked out. Very clean rooms, beautiful balcony.

Very friendly and helpful hosts.

A very nice village style two storied home stay with lots of tress inside the premises. Hosts (uncle-aunty) were very nice, served us with English breakfast with fruits and was reasonably charged.

Lovely room and balcony. Close to beach and easy by tuk tuk to Fort.

Very comfortable room, well decorated and on a quiet street. This was the first place we stayed in Sri Lanka and it was a great way to start our trip. You can see the ocean from the balcony which is a lovely way to start the day. The owner was so friendly and welcoming upon arrival. Location is good but does require some walking to nearby amenities, or a quick tuk tuk ride (to Galle fort for example)

The owners were the nicest people we have met in sri lanka , so hospitable and friendly. It is a family run hotel which adds to the charm, the grounds were kept well and the room was nice. It seemed to be a wife and husband we saw the most , they delivered breakfast to the table outside our room each morning and the tea and toast was fab , the man offered warming conversations telling us his sons achivement studying abroad in Japan !! We would love to stay here again

Very kind and good people

This was one our our favourite places we've stayed. We initially stayed in the room with a balcony which was beautiful and extended our stay because of the weather which the family were really flexible about. The breakfast was amazing and we also ordered dinner and lunch most days which was incredible. The setting felt really peaceful and we even saw a purple faced langur in the tree whilst eating breakfast. It's really close to Galle without being directly in the town. Thank you for having us, we loved our time here

My stay was excellent. The accommodation was very comfortable, with a cozy bed and no noise at all. The air conditioning worked perfectly. The WiFi was very fast with a fiber-optic connection. Breakfast was very good, and we could also enjoy a delicious Sri Lankan rice and curry dinner when we informed them in advance. The environment felt very safe, and the family was extremely friendly. Highly recommended!

We spent 3 nights at Lahiru Villa and it was magnificent. The homestay is managed by a family, who are genuinely good people - they care of all of your needs and are very friendly and approachable. They also cooked delicious food for us. The room was very comfortable and clean. The location is also easily accessible to all parts of Galle and nearby areas.
